I have maxed Thor mothership...with gravity amp and aghis blast .... Now got a Paladin ... I think i can't max it out as i am mostly f2p .. And no free datapad for ms comp..I have 2 doritos..can only buy one station...my choice is durability extender..so what should i do use max thor as usual or low lvl paladin ? I am in masters league with Sonic Indra , Redeemer lynx, T falcon, mender, leech, mars all mk2 or near it.

Personally, I'd stick with the Thor. At least until you get some levels into the Paladin. I'm still getting kills with the Thor, but I've got damage turrets on it. I just don't have anything else.

I have enough comps from previous events to max out a Thor but I think I'll stick to my level 30 Paladin. Bots just have so many ways to avoid damage motherships in my league so I'd rather get a guaranteed benefit to myself by using Paladin. Not too mention all the damage can get healed back from damage motherships so that tends to make bots even stronger that use immune amps.

Stick with the mothership that can be used more often like gus169 said. I made the mistake of going with a more powerful MS before...I rarely even got the benefits of it due to the slow charge effect. Always level up the charge effect first before the other abilities when winning components. Edit: it is better to have weaker effects more often (5-6) times per match, than to have little to no effects from the stronger MS (0-1) times per match. |

The level 30 Paladin that I use has near maxed out charge modifier of 17% per beacon capped. The other skills are weaker but I still prefer it, even over a maxed out Northlight. |

Yep. Both of these guys know their stuff. Method is right - you get that Paladin to 30 (maxing the charge speed first as Vulture says), then it'll be worth switching, for sure. Until then, the Thor will at least give you a way to harass campers, and if you time it right on a landing flyer or a bacon-sitting ball, it'll help rack up a few scalps.
