Landed an Ardent Imugi in one of the free chests and wondering If this bot worth levelling for use in Champions League for a bit of fun?
I remember that squads were running a lot of these with either lasers or spike setups as decent beacon cappers and ambush bots but I don't see as many of them since the release of the Ophion and obviously the Goochie Coochie.
I can put some decent lasers on it and probably use the Harold pilot with the longer firing before overheating skill, I don't have any of the dedicated pilots for it.

I'm not in champs, and I don't run the bot, but I still find Imugi a challenge to deal with. Particularly the K-laser set when played defensively/evasively. It's quite vulnerable in the air if you've got a radar (and the range) though. I expect there's lots of things that could kill you pretty quick up in champs.
I also expect you'll get some better help from others than I can offer here.

I run Laser Imugi with Monique and it still does well. The stealth mostly stops you keep getting one shotted by all the Reaper Crisis and Laser Newtons in each and ever game now, mostly, and the long range of the lasers lets you fight from a distance. Not sure if the Laser guy with just 3s longer to overheat is any/will be better now/after the nerf hits.

I like to compare Imugi to pre-nerf Nightingale personally. It is a stealth-based beacon capper that has more survivability than Loki in exchange for limited stealth. Teammates will never use your portals so you can basically treat them as your own get-out-of-jail free card. I do find it to be very fun, though it is not the most competitive due to its lower firepower and stealth not being totally reliable.

The Ophion with the stealth pilot wrecks it. And those are all over champion league. The laser weapons don't seem to strong anymore, most imugis I see run Spike/Needle or sonics.
