i have been "experimenting" with a blitz setup and as far as i know it works pretty well and is quite fun to play with for me at least (i experimented In the test server, i do not have 4 blights or a blitz robot in the main server) however when it comes to drones (I've tried drones like barrel but they didn't really seem to work out), modules (although i am not sure if i can get stuff like nuclear amplifiers) and pilot skills i don't really know what to choose since they have added quite a lot of content in the last 10 months or so (which is where i stopped playing for a while) so i am not really sure if this would be worth it or not, also i can't really afford mark 2 upgrades if you're wondering i can probably do up to mark 1 level 10 or something.

I used to run maxed pinatas on mine in champ. But you had to be really careful with what you run up against. Now, I run magnetars on mine. Fairly decent result. Very fun to run with the speed. Running a regular pilot in it atm. But Clive would be a better bet, just lacking resources to get one. If you have blight, those could be ok in gold and upwards.

Yep. I run a Mk1.11 ardent blitz in expert (just nudging into the back end of masters now). Regular first drop, running 3 sheriff mags and one scald. The lockdown is useful, defensively, but blights could work well if you can consistently land that 3rd. 600m is a comfortable range anyway.
As for mods, skills and drones, just put the best you've got on there and have some fun. I've gone for speed and armour mainly, but yeah, you play what you got.

4x Blights is def a skill-reward setup, if you can land em all they hit hard.

I still run my Ardent CLive blITZ in upper Champions League on occasion. Magnetars, Flames, BSGs, Sonics lots of options, but I prefer brawling distances.
