Tridents, definitely tridents, Zeus are the best possible weapons for Raijin though.
And don't let people discourage you from using your Raijin as they surely will, it's not nearly as awful as people try to portray it is, takes time to get a feel for its strengths and how to use it and how not to.

Tridents are best for the Raijin. Trebs are decent but you will be needing more than a minute of reload time to kill an enemy.

That tends to be the way... if they aren't the best, then they aren't worth playing. At least that is the way most seem to think. IMO, and it is a limited opinion since I don't use it as often as most bots, it is best when in a squad that can support you (if you're using Thunders) or that you can support (if you're using MR, preferably Zeus). I've killed Raijins easily that picked horrible places to set up shop, and I've been beaten off by one that knew not only where to get, but when to get there so that it made the most impact. I've seen a pair working together... one was an Ancile and one was packing double Thunders... that team went up a side of the map, taking beacons and killing anything that got close. It was a trip to watch. So, just don't get stuck on one way to use it if something isn't working. Be creative... pair up with others if using Thunders, find well covered places to deploy sniping and midrange weapons or climb crazy parts of the map... whatever works. Anyway, I agree with Ferro, I think awful is definitely the wrong word. Awfully hard to be amazing at driving it, sure... but it's a big pool of HP with good shields and the benefits of the Quadrupeds: no need to change the legs to the direction you want to go and no pause when falling off of higher elevated areas. Not my first choice in bots, but not a guaranteed loss just from using it, either.
