What should i buy for my 4th WSP bot? Rhino Or Stalker? Do you have enough tridents, magnums, and tarans? I bought a Stalker just for light bot tasks. I am thinking about buying a rhino. The real problem is the silver and time you spend upgrading the bots if you won't use them long term. My first WSP bot was a carnage, and I still use that. There are a few used in Legends league too, I have gathered. -Amid

kind of like asking "should i get apples or oranges?" Rhinos and Stalkers both work for capping, but where one has a shield and more firepower at the cost of maneuverability and speed, the other trades a shield and firepower for faster speed and agility as well as a stealth (prevents lock-on, but still can be hit) ability

You bought a Raijin? before a stalker or a rhino? That was a waste. As to your original question it would depend on what you need. Both can be a decent capper. The stalker is just a good overall capper while the rhino is a heavy capper in higher tiers. The rhino is a brawler while the stalker is evasive SOB.

I personally prefer the heavy rather than the light stalker, more damage and protection. However, stalker can be very effective if used correctly.

I always wish the reds play with 6 Stalker..
Problem with stalker is its firepower.. Two lights.. Can damage nothing really... And dies pretty quickly. Even if the pilot is experienced is taking cover while out of stealth and also experienced at dancing around heavies to avoid their weapons. It will still die too quickly and easily.. The only real benefit is super speed for capping a beacon and get to the next one. But never good at holding them..

None of them are top tier robots. So my recommendation would be to get a pair of Tridents and run a Trident/Molot or Trident/Pin Natasha. But if you want a robot - well, both are OK in lower leagues, it's more a matter of personal playing style. If you prefer the sneaky, beacon stealing game, get a Stalker. If you want a heavy hitter, go Rhino. An argument could be made that whatever the Rhino does, a Griffin or a Galahad can do better, but that really depends on how much splash is around in your league. A Rhino is extremely strong against plasma, but weak against rockets.
My problem with them is that both take forever to upgrade. Getting a Stalker to level 12 takes 19.2 days, a Rhino 20 days. That's a lot of upgrade time invested in a robot that you won't use later on.
I wonder, why did you replace that Carnage? Thunder Carnage is a fun robot, and Trident or Zeus Carnage is a viable top tier build.

The only real benefit is super speed for capping a beacon and get to the next one. But never good at holding them.. It depends on the map, and the support of your teammates. If you're up alone against a Stalker you will probably lose if it has cover and can dance around buildings, hitting you whenever in stealth mode. 2 Stalkers will take your robot out, easily, if you have no support. That's why I likle to open either with a Griff or a Trident robot, both are very efficient against light robots. However, if you have a teammate that's helping you, all you need to do is to force it out in the open, and then it goes down really quickly.

Before I got my galahads, I used to run both in my hanger, sometimes, I could stay entire matches in my stalker and still win. Rhino works too, but when someone attacks you with rockets, good luck surviving.

If you post a screenshot of your hangar, you might get some more substantial input on what to buy Let me digress: The thing is, you'll have to swap out a robot to make room for the new one (unless you're getting your 5th slot at the same time), and if we knew your current hangar we could make some suggestions. Like, if you don't have a Galahad yet, try to use a Galahad because it's better than a Stalker as beacon capper (even though it is slower, but it still very fast, takes out all light robots easily with the right configuration and it can defend a beacon really well), and most people prefer the Galahad over a Rhino as knife fighter (the Galahad can moves quickly in all directions and it can use the medium weapon with shield up, and it can evade rockets by backpedalling, which easily equalizes the reduced firepower). Im in silver/gold on Android and I often run 2 Galahads (Plasma/Hellfire, the latter as leadoff robot) in my hangar, along with Taran Ancilot, ADB Griff and Zeus Carnage. As a rule of thumb, think about what you want long-term and focus on this stuff. It is totally OK to have some fun robots and weapons, but I'd suggest to keep the fun stuff a few levels below the regular hangar. Yeah, I also have a Treb Gekko Natty, a Molot Fujin and a Spiral Hydra Griffin in my storage, but as a rule of thumb I will spend 90% of my upgrade time on my regular hangar and only 10% on my "changeup" robots. I will soon buy second Carnage and a Raijin just for fun (I also have a Fujin which I use rarely), but only because I have all the WSP weapons (including 3 Tridents) and robots that I need for a top tier hangar under the current meta. Back to your question: As for the regular hangar, I would consider running a second Carnage, but not a Rhino or Stalker. Most players who want a beacon capper in higher leagues prefer a Gary over a Stalker, but most players don't carry any light robot in their hangar and use a Galahad, Carnage or Griffin as beacon runner. So both robots you inquired about fall into the "fun" category (IMO), and there it's really up to you what you buy. Just go with the stuff that you will enjoy most.

Save the points and buy a Gareth for your light bot, RHINO is good for WSP but still has it's downfalls as do all bots. I would invest in Tridents and other weapons. I personally don't care for any of the WSP bots at the moment but sometimes I run a plasma or DB Rhino.

Stalker was my first WP bot but that was over a year ago people still target my stalker when I use it so it's a good distraction and it is the fastest bot in game currently. If you think it looks fun then you should buy it that is what this game is suppose to be about, having fun!!!

Tridents are fun also a Stalker with aphids does decent damage and can cap beacons quite well it takes about 10 seconds to liberate and capture a beacon if you time it right liberate hit stealth mode and be on the move to the next beacon.
With maxed aphids it is very fun even with lvl 8-10 aphids it is decent.
When I run my stalker I notice the whole red team targets me and causes a pretty decent distraction for my team to either blindside them and take them out or to get a 3-5 beacon lead on them.
IMO I prefer Stalker over a Rhino when played right it can be a force to be reckoned with but also I enjoy the quicker bots Griffin with max speed is pushing the slow boundaries for me.
It's all about how you like to play and what your style is.

I just cannot stand hydras it is funny to use sometimes because it just makes people so angry and eventually the whole team will be gunning for the hydra guy haha, but Tridents and Trebs are great weapons although the amount of time it takes to reload Trebs is way to long for me I prefer Tridents over all plus the splash radius for Tridents is wonderful especially when bots crowd together all that damage done at once.
