Hi!
I stopped playing about 3 years ago, and have now returned. There are a lot of new weapons and robots, so I need some advice.
What robot and weapons should I focus on in workshop first?
My lineup now is:
1. Au Jun, Glaciers 2. Phantom, Corona, Halo 3. Leech, Igniters 4. Ravanna, Storms 5. Nightingale Cryos 6. Arthur, Vengence/Retaliator
I also have leveled up: Tyr, Pulsars/Marquess Fenrir, Coronas/Ember Blitz, Blaze Au Jun, Redeemer Mender
I don't have many leveled up weapons that are not in use.
Any help and tips would be appreciated:)
PS. What is the best healer now? I don't feel like my Nightingale is doing perfectly any more.
I'm currently Expert III, but guessing I will be Expert 1-2 soon.
Thank!

Well, firstly, welcome back hebla. Things will have changed quite a lot in your absence, but a lot of what you have there will still do ok. The Ao Jun will be fragile today, but not unplayable. The Storms on your Ravana won't cut it though. Any other shotgun is better. Mender is probably the best healer (with the LeClaire pilot), but it costs PCs to make it immortal. Fenrir and Blitz are both still viable platforms in my view. You'll see some of the new weapons and bots ingame. Probably wouldn't hurt to browse the store and read up on their abilities. Some of them are insane. Good luck on the maps

I concur with what Gus said. I’ll give some more comments when I’m not on the move.

hebla - Just some random thoughts for you. This might help a little: warrobots.fandom.com/wiki/War_Robots_Wiki-- Consider your requirements when working on your hangar(s). Are you a beacon guy? TDM? -- The Bane-class weapons are like Ember-class except the range is 300m, they "squirt" through the air noticeably faster and they do corrosive damage. -- Corona and Halo are very bursty now. They do decent damage in an initial flurry then they take forever to reload. -- On a flat surface, Nightingale now flies too high to capture a beacon. If you start flying lower than the beacon you're trying to hold/grab, then you will be at an adequate height. For example, start flying on the lower deck on Carrier then fly over to the center beacon to grab it. -- The movement pace is quicker than you remember. It's not Walking War Robots it's Zooming Around War Robots (like Nether.) -- Drones are definitely a thing. Learn about them. Ask questions. They are expensive to level. -- Mender can be cool, and as already stated you'll need the Marie Leclair pilot. BUT! The meta is still meta in War Robots and Mender isn't meta. When it shines you'll feel like a hero and when it doesn't you're a liability. -- I used to be quite the fan of Phantom/Nightingale, now not so much because of the reasoning I gave for Mender above. -- Leech is still viable but you have to play it VERY carefully otherwise it's toast to all the dang speedy bots. -- ***Spending: You could argue that the game is cheaper to play for a returning guy like you. If you shop the sales you can get a decent bot AND its weapons at Mk2 level 1, (we call that 2.1 here) for like $20. You NEVER used to be able to do that. BUT! You can still easily spend WAY TOO MUCH trying to be Mr. Awesome on the battlefield. Just lean back and learn about what's going on and where you should spend your money or NOT. I'm a Domination guy. Skyros and Loki are my bread and butter. To me it's fun stuff although I don't do a lot of damage but I do contribute to the win (and that's my requirement.)

Thanks for the advice. I've started building Havocs for my Ravanna, then I'll see how the rest will look in a while.
