Crisis/Reaper: What a P2W combo if there ever was one. I lost a game this morning because this 「female dog」 dominated the beacon-side of Dreadnought. I was holding down CB and the solo beacon pretty well and p-boy crushed everybody else on the other side.
Not an uncommon scenario as we've all seen.
Do I want one? Yep, but I refuse to spend the $300 to get one.

It's very fun to play, the bot itself is balanced. It's those Reapers that are going to get the nerf. I like how they negate forcefields. That makes then useful in the meta, along with the shieldbreaker. Otherwise, they wouldn't be that bad.

The capable distance is obviously less than the Reaper, however, I've successfully baited Reaper drivers into taking shots at me, triggering Transcendence, then sent my own Weber shots back as a return gift before either the Reaper can reload or they drift back into Stealth.
We all know that the P2W crowd tends to get lazy and overconfident with their Godmode stuff. It's not perfect, but it's far better than continually getting blown up by Reapers.

I think long range weapons are perfect with, well, long range, and significant defense bypassing capabilities in exchange for low damage. When Reaper gets nerfed and is not part of the power creep problem anymore, I bet a lot of us will want it! |

I would be lying if I said a part of me was not drooling at the thought of owning leveled Reapers. I really do like the playstyle of Crisis, but it is only good with Gauss and Reaper. Maybe this will be my second super build since I am basically done with my Gauss Jaeger. |

Maybe this will be my second super build since I am basically done with my Gauss Jaeger. For me, I'm more interested in trying to gin up some stupid builds with a Crisis. Having been decimated by a quad-Glory Crisis a week after the mech came out, I'm intrigued by the possibilities and the opportunity to spend untold amounts of unobtanium to level up the appropriate pilot for the job. |

I remember Adrian's livestream with the Solid Jaeger really inspiring to build one. So I got a regular Jaeger, used it about twice for videos, and that was that. I could probably buy a Solid one at MK2 any time now and run Reapers, but I just can't be bothered. Unfortunately, Jaeger is useless now. |

The Ao Jun meta was a nightmare at the time, yes. We seem to have had a string of them though. I found the Bendy Weatherchook phase really annoying. |

I’m giving you a pass for whatever may have happened in the past. I didn’t see it and any other mod that may have should have spoken up. I’m not about to go dig up that dirt just to be a stickler for the rules. That wouldn’t be fair. I don’t care what anyone’s motivations may be. Whether they’re misguided or completely legitimate, we have already had periods of time where the forum was incredibly toxic due to ranting. We really don’t want that happening again. Having learned from those issues we have rules in the CoC against flaming people and a specific post against wholesale rants against YouTubers. Be as angry as you want. Please don’t vent it here. |
