How much electricity?
Carbon footprint?
Fun, but in the face of real issues n the world, an utter waste of STUFF.

If they're already making the product for sale, the quantity of it in use is a sum zero game.
Personally, I think it's interesting. It's a good engineering challenge and can be quite a teachable moment from a number of standpoints for educators that want to apply this or something similar.
As far as being a waste in the face of issues, you could say that on any number of fronts for any number of things. Personally, I think that levity is a good and necessary distraction given my perception of the general vibe over the last ~5 years. Everyone's too damned serious and self-important these days -- running around with an agenda, an axe to grind, and Kool Aid they're forcing on everyone else. If someone's going to do something with their imagination that doesn't hurt anyone else and provides a useful distraction, more power to them. I hope they enjoy themselves.

Your point is valid However theres too many people actively neglecting issues like how civil rights are becoming optional not required or the world is one wrong move from world war three and is actively burning

Speaking as someone who had his job held over his head if he didn't accept an experimental drug, I agree about civil rights being optional. That experience really further awakened me.
The point I attempted to make, though, is that there is danger in becoming too serious. Comedy and creativity are extremely important safety valves for society.

Been a bizarre few years. Not sure if things are starting to mellow out or...
You point about Comedy was spot on. Being able to laugh at some of this "stuff" is critical. Same with creativity whether that is art, music, daydreaming... whatever keeps your mind going and sane.

Same with creativity whether that is art, music, daydreaming... whatever keeps your mind going and sane. Thanks. Personally, it's taken me a few years to come out of what I refer to as "the fog." I put a lot of interests (particularly around the property) on the back burner (or bagged them entirely) over the last few years. I now wish I'd pushed through and built my inground greenhouse when I had momentum and many of the materials, but it is what it is.
With inflation being a runaway truck, money's certainly tighter. I'm working to refocus many of my misc interests onto things that help the family, but are still productive. So I get the benefit of bringing myself some small bursts of happiness while also saving money. I'm also trying to reign in my War Robots spending.
Thankfully, I have strong faith so while I'm certainly aware of a lot of swirl in the darkness, I'm not afraid. It'd be a far rougher path if I didn't have my faith being the bedrock my "house" uses as a foundation.

The problem is, God invoked full-on "Reset Mode" in Noah's Day.
