My vote is for the Orion, but I’m a big fan of those and in the hunt to get it’s EN to 24 this summer. Mine’s at 20 EN and has MRs on it. Fun, fun build. My blunt sniper build.
I could see why you’d want to allocate resources to your Gatecrasher. They seem to have a lot of utility and that’s useful in any hanger.I’m running into more players with highly leveled ones.
No experience with Redeemers and Pumas. Seeing fewer Redeemers out there myself.

Redeemer is popular because it's a 29mph mech with about the same health as Surge or 4/3rds that of a Killshot. It was a lot more popular when the ability instantly took effect. Now I think a lot of people are looking to ultimately replace it as it needs to be played more cautiously. It has sunk to the 5th slot for a meta hangar but the verdict seems to be that it still beats out the alternatives.
Taking Gatecrasher up from 24EN to 28EN adds HP but weapon-wise it probably doesn't get you much unless you're looking to run 12+16. I don't know Puma, but Orion and Redeemer now are both peekaboo mechs, so there a very similar dynamics. The thing is, looking at your blueprints, you can take Redeemer all the way to R6 now and 20EN, but Orion would be stuck at R5 and 18EN. Personally I would lean towards taking Redeemer to R6 but not bothering to max it. But it really depends on what weapon combos you'll have available.and how much 18 v 20 EN matters. And if you enjoy playing Orion more, then it seems fine to go that route instead. It's a solid mech.

I think it comes down to which weapons you have cloned. If you have a set of 12EN weapons ready to go, then go for Orion. If you have a set of 16EN weapons then go for Gatecrasher. I've been facing a similar dilemma myself between Bastion and Gatecrasher and Redeemer. I'm also one level away from maxing my Tengu. I have the credits and the bps to do it. So, what did I do?
I threw a level at my Stalker so now I'm at 6.5, one more level to go to max.
My reasoning was that I didn't really have a good weapon to put on Redeemer. I also don't really have the dexterity to run it properly and would rather wait to get an Eclipse (which is getting more and more prevalent). As for Gatecrasher and Bastion, well, with the nerf to EMRs, I don't really need another 32EN mech and after playing around with CB12, MR12 and NL12 a bit more these last few days, I've decided that I don't really have a good weapon for Bastion other than AT12 and I've just put those back on my Surge. Yeah I feel stupid for throwing resources at NL12 and MR12 - even though I had some success with MR12, but AT12 is the way to go for my Surge. At least now I know for sure for myself. Anyway, that leaves Stalker and I plan to run RM2 on it. I've been in a few games with humans who run it and it's a pain when coordinated with other human players. So, I feel RM12 is still relevant.
I will still break out Redox with DL16 for 2v2 and TTDM and such, but my primary mode is CPC so having one RM build is very useful, especially if the other team pulls one out.

That's the first time I see someone with a ranked up Puma 😂 But that's an entry level mech, forget him and don't waste your resources any further.
My vote goes towards Gatecrasher. Especially since 32EN mechs are going to be more expensive to rank up - I'm reminded of it just now. Don't wait. It's got high energy and is relatively fast, with a useful ability.
