Am sure it’s been discussed here before. Ideas/suggestions/hits would be appreciated.
Mine is my 2.3 and either I am targeting the wrong bots or my setup just Hoovers. Was running Hels, switched to Atomizer family.
Was working on finding safer landing areas, like with all breakable flyers, but I would often get killed in the air.

This looks like the perfect thread for our very own NexusBlade!

As far as weapons go Nucleons do make for a great choice, other good options I've used are Decay, Smuta, Hwangje, and Incinerators do pretty good as well. For Modules I have tried basically every combo and what I recommend is 2 Nuclear Amplifiers and a Last Stand, The 2 NA's allow for a faster increase to your dps allowing more initial advantage and the Last Stand gives you a crucial bit of extra survivability with a second life when you get caught in a bad spot. For the active module I have a preference for Jump Unit for extra maneuverability and height for a better angle on cover, and the sudden vertical leap often takes people off guard and minimizes damage while ascending, but if jump isn't your cup of tea then Advanced Repair or Phase Shift make for good options in general. For your Pilot Victoria with Engine Expert is an absolute must have and gives you a lot of evasive capability and speed in general, I build my Seraphs for Speed and Damage so my pilot build atm is: Road hog T4, Spy T4, Engine Expert T4, Mechanic T4, Destroyer T4, Dodger T4, and Foolhardy Quartermaster. Also worth noting for your mothership either Northlight or Paladin are your best bets as they give lots of extra survivability in crucial moments especially if you have the durability extender turret. The optimal playstyle for Seraph is to make wide strafing runs and loops, rushing head first should ONLY be done when you are sure you can take out your opponent by the time you get there and have a means to get behind cover as you will be highly vulnerable when you land. Also use your speed to your advantage to be hard to hit and unpredictable, kiting is also a strong tactic with Seraph as you can lure people in and have the ability to deal crazy damage on retreats and get back to cover to then reengage on your own terms. Also I found for a long time and even after the rework the Paralysis Drone is a perfect combo as the lockdown adds an additional layer of control and pressure on your opponents, which allows you to deal even more damage while also making evading enemies even easier, some weapons have better effect accumulation than others and in that regard for weapons I have found Smuta, Hwangje, and Incinerator all have EXCELLENT accumulation rates with Smuta applying lockdown the fastest imo, Weapons like Nucleon and Decay aren't as great in that specific regard. In general the path to success with Seraph is knowing when to be evasive and when to press the advantage, you die fast if you play poorly but if played well it's like a hot knife through butter

(PTSD memories of Ai Jun dying on Springfield coming back) Thanks for the information. Now, just need to win a Paralysis drone and a new mothership…lol.

I’m not seeing Engine Expert. Engine Expert is one of the branch skills, if you run Defense Expert or Ferocious Guardian the skill will be unavailable. Also happy I can be of help

So Engine Expert > Ferocious Guardian?

So Engine Expert > Ferocious Guardian? Yes absolutely, the damage output on Seraph is already good and Ferocious Guardian isn't a large enough boost to offset the raw utility of going way faster and way further during your ability. Meanwhile Destroyer is worthwhile as you don't need to sacrifice another crucial skill in order to use it and given your built in weapon is a defining characteristic of the bots attack it's a solid skill to run.

So far, playing well.
Need to level up weapons, get the pilot more experience.
But, so far so good.
Thanks, NexusBlade!

Don't forget Redeemers. Running mine with Mr. Otto funny-hair man. It's a good build.
