 should i upgrade it to MK2 is it worth it? im having a bit of a crisis, see, i spent ALL my silver upgrading from lvl 10 and now im broke is anything worth it? WHY IS MY FENRIR A VACUUM FOR SILVER any similar situations anyone? btw my fenrir currently has approximately 350k hp so it might be worth it to make it higher but im still deciding |

The higher your gear, the higher your league will end up being. So if you generally like the style/variety of play in your league, you might considering setting a cap to your gear leveling. At your league (gold according to your forum acct), you'll encounter some tankers that are seal clubbing as well as some people that buy MK2 deals and will eventually raise out of your league due to increased damage output. You won't be painted into a corner facing all the monthly releases of uberoverpoweredallthebellsandwhistlespewpewpew deathmachine stuff you'd get in upper Masters and Champ league. That's the trap people fall into when they feel they need to chase the gearing curve and get things to upper MK2 and MK3.
There is a sweet spot that some people find to get increased effectiveness while also capping their league elevations: they level up mechs, but keep guns low. That might be something to consider.
We have some members here that have successfully found their sweet spot in lower leagues. Cdr. Crimmins and >^\}VULTURE{/^< are two that could give some very good input. More learned than mine: I stay in M3 and M2. |

It's still a beast but can be frustrating to play in higher leagues due to everything moving way faster and having heaps more magic abilities that you have to sit there and soak up before you get to do anything back.

I just dropped around 60k Au to upgrade 2 pilots today. Yowsers. You. Cannot. Spend. Enough. Money. On. This. Game.  Don't even try to find out for yourself. To get your Fenrir to 1.12 is another pile o' Ag and then if you are going to level 2.1 you pretty much have to get to 2.4 or why bother, right? Be good where you are at. Consider not taking any bot or weapon past 1.10 in the future. You'll thank me later. I hope.  |

Everything is a vacuum for resources. I just dropped around 60k Au to upgrade 2 pilots today. Yowsers. Sounds like me yesterday. 30k to upgrade one just for a lark. |

It's all about what is important and enjoyable to you. I currently have 3 lynx I haven't stuck a single level on. Certain gear alone will boost you to places you may not want to go. I killed to many Mk3 bots with my lvl 1 Mk1 lynx in FFA it was 「slow」. General rule...power lvl 1-3 items on the regular, lvl low level items during events for extra resources, you will soon find you have the resources to take your "main" items over the top. Also at this point, after a few events the lower lvl items will become "usable" at which point you can power level them as resources allow. It is always up to you to add or subtract from you hanger at your whim to add fun... |
