it actively changes everyday as I try to find what’s best for me. the leech, behemoth, and invader are usually there. I mostly play dom and occasionally play beacon rush. (Too many damn scorpions In tdm)

(Too many damn scorpions In tdm) There are two mech that aren't all that viable. One is the Spectre. It can work, but it's so glass I recommend against it. If you really want to, use long-range weapons with a quick fire cycle like the Gauss-style guns. The other is Leech which is, also, a glass cannon. It's less so than a Spectre, but not by a whole lot.
Invader is a lot of fun, particularly if you do everything you can to make it tanky. I use flames on mine, but munkeeee is the resident Invader expert.
I'm a big Loki fan. You really want to focus in speed and health. I wouldn't worry too much about trying to do damage, although, sonic weapons are good. Try to get it leveled up to 9 to get more speed.
Behemoth can be a jack of all trades, but is generally used the most for long-range pain. I can't speak too much about it because I haven't farted around too much with mine.

Regarding the Spectre, in your league it can still be plenty viable, but, unless you are very aware of who is hunting you, their speeds, locations, weapons, and ability to get at you, you should definitely reserve your ability for defense and evasive maneuvers, not for offensive. Only use it for assault if you are careful about where you will be in relation to other enemies when you emerge from stealth, and if you are certain you can end the target. Often jumping straight up ot from cover to cover is the best tactic for offensive piloting of Spectre. Ideally, unless you are set on using it in CQC, which is not ideal due to vulnerability, you want to try loading weapons with more tange on it, 500m+. This gives you range advantage, longer combat longevity, and if you are careful your stealth while hammering down targets will be a pita!
Invader, great all the way into champs.
Loki, aim for better burst weapons like sonics or bsg, great mech all the way into champs.
Leech, great, ideal with Pulsars because of reach, lockdown, and quick reload enables you to brawl if needed. Can still be viable in champs.
Behemoth, viable in champs, but get some better weapons and decide if your role will be CQC or support.

Invader: Good investment in the bot. It can take you far. Don't go to crazy on the weapons as you'll find better ones as you go. Right idea with Halo but some of the Shotguns or Fire is better. Close range. As Poopface says... this is a tank. I run the Trixie Pilot as well.
Loki: Also a good one. Agree that the weapons are secondary to Stealth and SPEED. I run longer range weapons on mine... Quarker. It is a lot of fun to play Loki and you can really turn the tide of the game if you get a bunch or reds running around trying to get you. You can also be really tough on Titans as some of the flying bots like Au Ming really struggle to get you.
Leech: Still see them in Masters and can be tough. Lots of better bots but fun to run for a while. I would not invest a ton in it.
Behemouth: Another winner. Well worth the upgrade cost. You can play a lot with the weapons. Any of the Heavy Weapons will be fun from Machine Guns to long range Lasers. The Ardent version which you have is especially good. Hang on to this one.
Spectre: Agree... ditch it once you get something better.
I'm sure you get lots of good advice. Nice hanger over all!!

Expert is mildly so, aficionado absolutely.
Your game play style will really dictate each bots mechanics. Long range, knife fighters, support, healers, even the match style. It really all boils down to how you want to play and what you wanna bring to the field. Currently I have two builds set up for range somewhat, with 600 m radiation and 600 m pulsar/magnetar‘s. The other two I have set for more close quarter combat, one with flames and one with EMGs. Tank it out with at least one repair amp for sure. I run most of mine with a nuke amp immune amp and a repair amp, and as I said before I have Stanislav Chen to pilot them. I already had quite a few maxed out. To start I would highly suggest EMGs for the Invader since they would give you decent range at 500 but also up close you can continuously fire causing damage repeatedly without stop or reload Also, don’t rely so much on the repair because the spider itself is already tanky for your league so if you do decide to get a little creative, throw a quantum radar on there and you will be amazed at all the things you can shoot at that you couldn’t before, just my two Cents.
Lokis are nasty so the best set up I’ve seen and gone against would be sonics just for the simple fact that you’re close quarters.
Behemoth is a monster on the field right now, so I would set that up with some range, possibly prismas or if you have some of the new laser weapons, yet they only go to 800 m.
The others I’m not too familiar with as it’s been stated, I run all spiders.
A lot of it is really trial and error seeing what works and what doesn’t with your play style and how you pilot each bot.

childcollector, lol. creepy, but funny. others have given you good advice here - the spectre is probably the weakest link in your chain - but it's an excellent trollbot if you get used to its limitations. range is almost mandatory and its ability is probably best used evasively. and the set your running on that behemoth is borderline suicidal. part of me really likes it
