I think an armadillo drone is really valuable here and fast bots so you can back pedal.
Claw/jaw weapons are my weapon of choice for splash damage and being able to shoot over obstacles.
The atomisers are pretty useless once they overheat and the targetting system can get annoying with not aiming at the critter you want to shoot, but at least you still have the Fafnir breath I guess.

1. I swapped in whiteoutdrone for its emp effect 2. Arachnids jump incursion wipes out all spiders close to it every time. 3 EMGs are great, but remember to let them cool down too. 3. Flames work well also 4. Usually I can get my titan out with about 2 min left, burning bull works wonders, NOTHING gets close, and it’s run ability sends them flying

Hellburner/Shell is pretty good for extermination because the ability one-shots most spiders for the first several stages. You can either run into the spiders’ spawn and spam the ability to clear them in droves for a quick win, or use it to keep the swarm at arm’s length (speed boost and AoE attack is nice, plus the explosion radius is bigger than the AoE weapon spiders). Make sure to use those if you have not yet!

The Imugi with lasers is the only bot I can pass it with on the firt stage. It's impossible. Second stage I used Erebus with Hwangjes.

Is they a thread anywhere about which bots/weapons work well in Pve? Since a came back to the game I've struggled with pve I made a video on stage 3 PVE if you want to watch but basically, any bot with claw/jaw/talon setups should be able to do stage 3 and collect most prizes from stage 4 as well (I haven't been able to get 170 kills on the first part....yet!). Although this time around it is on Canyon map which makes it a little easier I guess. An armadillo drone makes it easier, I imagine a kestrel would be even more devastating. A Mars bot with fortifiers is tough to beat as well due to the aegis "skin" it has. I pretty much just use 2 bots, Mender and Mars for all levels of PVE.

Nice footwork on the bridge, something we don’t get to see every day. And also, take a note, those staggered/ asymmetrical firing claws and jaws are where it’s at, for quite a bit of the equation, if you’re lucky to have them semi-rockin’. You rarely ever get caught not shooting. I do the same thing in my L1.10 Demeter w L9-11 Jaws. Speed helps, and the ability to know your map is key.

Some versions are easier than others it’s seems, I don’t know if it’s the map setups or what. Last time I couldn’t even get the max prize in stage 1, but this new one I got max prizes on stages 1,2 and 3 like it was nothing.

Little things like making the enemies slightly faster or spawning them in corners so you have to go get them etc. Part 1 of stage 4 requires 170 kills, I can't do better than 150 with my hangar. I think this one needs a hangar with maxed gear to accomplish or at least a couple of those absurd kestrel drones.

I discovered that second hangars were only 1000Au now (I know..."only") and since I had plenty, I decided to spring for Hangar 2 so I could move up in the Extermination stages.
I was feeling pretty good about myself because I'd been pretty strong in those first two stages. I have been humbled, though. Stage 3, I completed it with okay performance. Stage 4 has me beat...so far.

I have been 'bested' by stage 3, fairly consistently, but I'm pretty happy with the rewards from the first 2. I'm not going to go levelling anything to get past it.

They have consistently been making each stage harder and harder week after week with subtle buffs to the enemy bots. The are faster and I'm sure the bosses are more immune to the Orion battleship as well. Those little Raykers are super annoying with the freeze rockets travelling way faster than "our" versions and constant suppression.
You need 2 decently levelled Titans and current meta like kestrel drones and Lynx stealth to make the final stages possible.
Interesting how a Crisis would go against boss enemies when they can't see you.
