I'm wondering what folks are doing for resource reserves (A-Coins mostly). I know at certain points moving up the ranks it's impossible to save, but that some of us are lucky enough at this point that we can. I've had it as my rule to have 10K in A-Coins saved up, the idea being that is the cost of 2 gold implants and 1 legendary pilot (or vice versa) if they should suddenly appear. But pilot releases have slowed to a crawl. And now there keeps seeming to be the credit gacha alternative for pilots, for which I am keeping at least 1.25M credits on hand. And I don't about you, but I NEVER buy gold implants anymore. Since they started selling them for $$$ I only get offered the crappiest options or ones I already have (again and again and again).
And then I am saving even more A-Coins from Sprees and events in my Inbox, but no Research Events come around for me to use them and I have keep making sure they don't expire before I use them (same with Amateur crates). Maybe the pace of content will pick back up after they finish with the new Progress System, and I'll probably wait til it drops to see if I want to buy anything. But still, it feels like I should lower the my reserves soon and that Plarium has adjusted everything that made it worth doing before. What are all you guys doing, experiencing with this? For those saving, what is the target number you aim for?

I just passed the 16,000 Acoins boundary. I hoard acoins notoriously and usually only spend when an event can take advantage of it. Even then, spending Acoins has to work in my favor, like increasing weapon damage and mech EN on a bot I think is vital. I’m not in much of a rush on upgrades.
Plarium’s hurt themselves in my case. I don’t really see how acquiring all sorts of new stuff is gonna help me enjoy the game more or end matches any better. As a result the acoins keep piling up. I didn’t like what the M&WU did to my hanger and I’m adverse to spending big to get all the ‘feels’ back in the game.
Now credits? That’s another story. I went nuts the last time every 30,000 credits counted towards an event. Went from 3+million to less than 300,000. I’m slowly building credits back up.

I spend my acoins as soon as I have enough to do something I might regret later!

I've also hoarding been my resources.
I've saved over 30k A-Coins over many months. Between the acquisition of new items and upgrades, I've calculated that ideally I'd need to reach a target of 40k A-Coins. At any rate, I won't start spending them until Plarium has released the new progress path and allowed me to buy the most of the coveted items with in-game resources ; so that I can spend my stash in one fgo as part of an event, thereby maximising my ranking.
I've only splurged recently on upgrading my Panther to 6 stars, but that was only under duress 🙄, due to Plarium's plan to make heavy mechs more expensive to upgrade.
I also too a rule to try and keep 3100 A-Coins in storage in case an interesting on pops up in the shop. However, I've gotten all the obtainable ones which interested me so far, plus I've got all the Legendary pilots I need, so I won't mind breaking this rule if needs be.
As for credits, I've steadily hovered around 7 millions in the past months, with pilots events and a very recent purchase of Brickhouse. Here also, it's healthy to keep a balance of at least 1,5 million credits in case a worthwile event pops up.

I spend the resources almost as fast as they come in. Sometimes I will gather up to 10,000 acoins but then use half or more on something, usually after I get beat badly in a match. Recently I upgraded Gatecrasher because of the coming increase in the cost of upgrading heavies.
