all the protesting and deleting the app and ranting on and on about them. im almost certain they don't even care. why do we keep all 「fluffernutter」ing doing all this? if they are doing something please enlighten me. from my point of view it feels useless. im 「fluffernutter」 tired of pixonic being a little 「dookie」 and doing 「fluffernutter」ing nothing.

You are 100% right, they dont give a 「dookie」, but the main reason is because their sales analytics show that the players also dont give a 「dookie」 if the product is functional or consistent.
Protesting and complaining all the while still gobbling up all the deals to stay competitive just tells them the players dont care if the content is bait and switch or broken.
So, the bottom line is the players purchase habits are entirely to blame for this ongoing mess, because Pixonic is given no incentive to stop the bait and switch or fix the issues.
While protesting some things has proven to get some things shifted, overall the fundamental faults of the business methods prevail, and will continue to prevail, because of players paying.

ѻﻭɼﻉ ( Hi! ) The part that hurts the deepest is that Pix fails to do anything about the subtle hackers. So, my response is to be a kinda F2P player and when that ceases to be fun, quit.

My advice to you is to lower your expectations in a battle, and celebrate the wins.
Also, how much have you spent in total in this game?

You keep asking people how much they've spent on the game and have posted about how you have spent nothing. Too many of your type and the game folds. I've seen it happen personally, the most painful example being Nexus War. Supporting devs to help keep the lights on, even such nakedly greedy devs as Pix, because at it's core this game still has something all the others do not, is legit. It is up to each of us to decide what value the entertainment is worth and to decide whether we pay in time (ads), money, or both.

I agree, I don't spend much at all in RM anymore, but I pay dearly in ads!

I think the real point I'm trying to make is related to spending on gear. Of course the devs need money to live, and I'll feed them with ads. But ads aren't equipment. Ads are fine. The sheer advantage you have due to spending money on robots and weapons is completely unfair to someone not willing or unable to do so.
And I know there's a lot of opinions, and for every good idea there's a radical extremist. Like the people who spend thousands on robots versus the people who report everyone who they think paid money for gear. To each there own, of course, and there's not going to be an obvious best choice, and no decision will completely cover the next issue, so a lot of different choices need to be made. In some cases, it's better to spend money on the game to support the devs, and many arguments can be made for them. On the other, its unfair to have people who spent money interact with people who didn't for whatever reason. Which can of course also be debated.
By asking people how much they spent on the game, I wanted to do a few things.
1. Learn more about the people I'm talking to so I can work with them to have more acceptable and smarter discussions; if you say the wrong words people can let anger decide what happens next.
2. I wanted to see their individual situations so that I can use my interpretation of their point of view to make better decisions on arguments, debates, and even conversations. To expand my own point of view, in a sense.
3. I wanted to share my own line of thought. In the same way I want to learn about other's point of view, I want to see what they would think of mine. Because I constantly talk about not spending, I was hoping for questions or at least advice I could receive or give out to others.
4. I wanted to argue. I wanted to test my boundaries, to see what people would react with. Asking how much people spend is an instigation, implying that I think less of you due to me having spent nothing. So, by having retaliation, there would be cause for debate. I wanted to see if I could hold my own, share my ideas, and end any debates on a peaceful note, with a slightly better reputation, meaning more people would listen to me and my ideas. Because, with an audience of more experienced players, a great idea will travel farther and reach many ears. The more people hear about an idea, even though obviously slight, there is a higher chance of it being considered for the game, plus I would have more reputation for an even louder voice as long as I keep up my good image (In smaller games this is how I became a Tyrannical Dictator using peace and a large following).
5. I usually use myself as an example, and this was no exception. Based on the advice I gave out, it would be helpful based on my personal experience. Of course there are many different playstyles, mindsets, etc., and at the end of the day, to each their own.
