"C'mon Ollie, spend way too much to get an (Ardent) Imugi, level it and a pilot and then own the battle field!"
With the bots I already have, if I can't make a significant impact to the match then, A: They're hacking B: I've barely learned a thing.
I want an Imugi and I want the legendary Aether. Goodness knows that I don't need them and I'm in NO FLIPPIN' RUSH.
I haven't quit spending but the motivation to do so is substantially reduced.

This sort of thing is why I started a self-imposed “no spend April” yesterday. I’ve gotten on a cycle of think of some goofy project and immediately want to develop it.

Few more bots i probably wont run but own, really wish i could sell them or give them away My sentiment, as well , if I’m hearing you correctly. I have a few new bots that I refuse to run, this goes back to my Hawk/ Shell/ then Revenant Boycott. They were so OP at the time, and the S clans all had hangers full of them. In my quest for an Aether, The only Titan that tripped my trigger in the last year or two, and yes, cost me about $25ish(?) at the end of the event when things get much cheaper. I acquired many goodies along the way. One of them being an Angler. So I took it up to level 7-8(?), to see what the big fuss was about. I found it to be a very easy robot to run, and with so many abilities stacked, you didn’t really even have to time a damn thing. It is now in my third hanger as a trophy, and I refuse to run it..

Key word, EASY. These newish bots are literally point and click, nothing to it. Dont have to aim or anything. Fly around, annoy and kill. Rinse, repeat. So yeah, I get joy out of being a PITA every time, and when I kill a mosquito, I do a happy dance. If not, then i die on my shield, onto the next match. Boring is the proper term for the more new style bots.

Oliver Kloesov PLEASE do not buy the Ardent Imugi. It is bugged, and has the same hitbox glitch as the previous SE bots (cruel angler, unknown seraph, scavenger shell) and they are an absolute PAIN to kill. I was in an FFA game earlier this morning and me and this other guy were both in Spear Khepris, and we teamed up shooting an Ardent Imugi and it didn't take any damage.

Never fear, I don’t think I have a single Imugi shart, Ardent or not.

Ditto. My collection of Shell's, Revenants, Khepri, Skyros, Seraph etc. etc. that just sit at Level 1. It is becoming my personal museum of all that I dislike about this game (endless new material, never fixing issues, introduction -> Nerf -> Buff -> Repeat...) Conversely... enjoy the rare moments of glory with some of the older bots I run and appreciating PIX making some buffs lately to some of the older gear.
