for me, i really like it. from what ive seen of the first level, you get a lot of resources for it, which is great.

What would you say are adequate weps?

shotties, flames(Raphael petit as a pilot is great for this, 30% more spread), EMGs, are the only ones I have tried so far this morning. I did take my healer hangar out for the 3rd task which helped alot for healing, but the weps I had werent the best choice(prismas and teslas, although nucleons were pretty good). Granted I am still working on my long range attacks, i am more of a brawler. I would even venture to say sonics or anything with a splash would be effective as well if you can get them to cluster. Then again, i did alot more chasing and attacking than backing up. I found moving them into a funnel really worked well on maps with cover. I think splash weps would be good for open maps with alot of space. The hangar sale, eh, they do it from time to time. But I am sure it was in their plan

Otto Mag Blitz is very good from my experience with this. It has a NA, RA, and Thermonuke.
I found my Mender wasn't killing stuff quite fast enough in the 1st stage of step 3 so I replaced the Immune Amp with a second NA so it'd load up faster. I agree that EMGs might be a better choice. EMG Typhon would likely be quite good.

I have had great success with two builds. Raven with blast shotties (to be fair, fairly high MK2 guns on a MK3 bird) and Orion strikes. Manage your jumps well and you can get out of some tight spots, and also get the horde to work itself into a ball that can be chopped up efficiently. Typhon with Scorchers and a Wasp drone. The Wasp will kill a tick with every shot, and the Typhon built-in will do the same. And the Scorchers have a decent effect as well. If I start with either of those, they should survive to the end, but if they don't, it's Titan time. My Hades with MK2 EMGs does well on individual targets but you have to be careful about heat spread. You can't just hose down. It's aim-squirt-aim-squirt repeat repeat. I don't have a second hangar, though, so I finished the first two stages in about 15 minutes and that was that.

Yeah, I like the feel of the mode now, but I don't have a 2nd hangar. 900+ gold in my pocket. If I get to 1k, I'll think about it.

Tried Stage 4. It was so much more difficult than Stage 3 I decided I’m done. Sorry. I don’t have all the late$t $tuff needed to $ucceed.

Rollo Tomasi I feel that pain very keenly. The first two stages are pretty fun. I don't have that second hangar though. Honestly, I think if I did, I'd bump my heavy hitters to that second hangar for this. I don't know if that's radical thinking or what.

I made to the second half of stage 5, and that super Titan just destroyed me without breaking a sweat.

I played the first 2 levels and only used one bot. My Serph/Decay worked great and got Platinum ranking both times. Agreed the resources are great but the game play to me was a Yawn Fest. To me War Robots is about 6v6. If I want to play endless AI bots there are free games that offer it.
