This is going to be so stupid. I can't wait. In its 3rd run, I got the following.
This was a Falcon that kept jumping to try to get away from me.
I'll give this match an asterisk due to the squad, but it actually did a pretty decent job killing stuff and doing good damage in the extremely short time the match was running.

Yesss! This one I REALLY like. LR on a tanky brawler. This is what I did with my first Fenrir, and my second (currently running a Reaper/Weber/Orkan build). They WILL come for you, hard, but they'll be all fulla holes when they get there. chuckles. lovin' it Poop.

Leveled up the guns more and improved the pilot some. It still does well. From a match I just had. The match was over in 4 min (I suspect some Red shenanigans) but almost all my time was in the Typhon.

Ran into a guy running a Vortex Mars with Jump module this morning. Surprisingly, it worked pretty well. The mech was MK3 and the Vortices were 2/3 iirc. I might have to try that sometime for poops and giggles.

Thinking about making a Ghost Erebus running Otto with Redeemers
As much as I like the Behemoth with the Glories, I think this might also be some good silly fun.

I was thinking the same, but with Reapers. Unfortunately there is no ghost skill for Erebus.

I guess mine is just infinitely cooler than yours.

I have an idea for an oddball Tyr build. I’d love to get one of the SE versions, though.

I have a few other irons in the fire at the moment. Unfortunately, none are ready for primetime. Just as well. I'm playing the current hanger and getting the pilots leveled to their next upgrade threshold while I get the gear leveled up. Just took another weapon to MK2 and a mech to MK2 (unfortunately, they aren't to be paired for the projects) this morning so progress is being made albeit slowly.
I spent way more $$ than I should before 9.3 dropped to get pilots in position to accommodate my whims, but am behind the curve with leveling up guns and mechs in some cases. It took a fair amount to build the Venom Typhon as I'd had to level everything from scratch (even the Warrior Typhon was new to me), level up the Redeemers for the Erebus, and the K-lasers and Phantom they're mounted on. Ordinarily, I'd be taking a more focused approach on things, but with the announcement of memorium the money I'd typically spend to get one mech leveled and/or outfitted all went to pilots.

As I've mentioned elsewhere, I've found myself thoroughly enjoying the Demeter. I didn't think I would, but it had enough oddball bells and whistles that I thought it might have potential to be useful to Blue and annoying to Red. I'll admit that I've enjoyed my time with Scorpion on occasion and like the "aha! Gotcha!" aspect of the Revenant so the teleport was appealing to me. Since I also enjoy healers (I have a soft spot for my Nodens), I thought it'd be worth a whirl. As I've mentioned elswhere, I invested in it (and others) in 9.2 to head off the memorium debacle.
The weapons are somewhat immaterial. It depends on your play style. I realized that a) the shields from the stabbies may be useful, b) I enjoyed the play style with the Revenant, c) I'd occasionally be teleporting right in someone's face so precision-aimed weapons wouldn't work so I've gone with the Stabbies. I spec'ed out the pilot in such a way that the weapons don't matter. In some cases I've gone all-in on weapons skills and realize that that can end up with suboptimal results (such as my BSGs on a Ravanna w/o the tightened shot grouping skill), but with the likelihood that 9.3 would make leveling pilots prohibitively expensive in most cases (which has borne out as an accurate projection) I thought a generic approach was prudent.
I'd say that the Immune Amp and Repair Amps are necessary. As far as the Nuke Amp, that's a personal preference depending on whether you want to have more survivability or a better chance for damage. If played well and you don't get focused-fired by multiple players w/ your ability on cooldown, the Nuke Amp should be viable. There have been times when I've had multiples (mechs or Titans), but no amount of added defense is going to get you through multiple Newton shots.
That said, Demeter can be a pain in a Newton's behind. It's low to the ground which allows you to get in its face and make getting hit by its death zappers near-impossible. Also, as you can see in the video below, I was watching for a Newton to get a bead on the Blue Rook. Once I saw the Rook get levitated, I targeted him for salvation and ate the death zapper shot with my bubble.
Sure, the healing isn't as good as Mender or Weyland, but it's proving itself to be fantastic against everything except guns that bypass shields. And with the teleport and bubble that charges up as it takes damage, it's certainly not a dull mech to play. It's not a monster truck, it's not a tank, and it's not a super car. It's more like a Fiero: maneuverable, elusive, and a riot to play.
If you have a dusty one sitting in a corner somewhere or memorium burning a hole in your pocket, give it a whirl.

So.....in the interest of doing something different I decided to throw a Tyr back in my hanger for a bit. I didn’t have guns leveled that I was happy with do I tried this for a bit. Unfortunately, with all the Champ/Master magic force fields on Nether and Lynx the only stuff I can generally hurt with this setup are out of range (Crisis, Behemoth, Harpy/Siren). Meanwhile, the guns did diddly to the Nether/Lynx. I decided to try something different. I’m under no illusions that this will be great. Just hoping for “marginally serviceable.” The idea is to use this to heal Titans in late-game. The idea is to plink away at stuff at range while healing the Titans and save the grenade launchers for if someone got too close. Lockdown active module to try to help Blue get close to taking down Newtons.

Since it’s been over a week since Pix started putting me almost exclusively with tankers and against deathsquads and legend leaguers, I’ve decided I’m switching things up.
I’m going to put together a Conscientious Objector hanger. Healing and beacons only. No shooting.
「fluffernutter」 this game. Next step will be to burn the boats.

I change it around periodically, anyway. I have 3 Lokis, a Skyros, a Tyr, a Mender, a Demeter, a Weyland, a Nodens, and a Heimdall. I also have a Nightingale, but it’s under leveled.
