I don't. Between all the game sounds and frequently the cacophony of my kids in the background, I don't need any more simultaneous noise in my life.

depends on my mood. sometimes just TV noise in background. Time drops I usually put on some live synthwave or similar. Mornings I need to wake up since i cant/dont drink coffee, so heavier stuff works. Only thing i am not into is country music.

Been a while since I played War Robots (Mech Arena now) but I always played with the sound off and sometimes I would do music. I think it really depends on your taste, etc but I did find that upbeat electronica like happy hardcore techno or chipbreak could pair up well. So could a lot of other stuff though. My main experience however was that with fast music the beat could drive me to take risks a bit too much in game, just go a bit wild running around with speed mechs. When I needed to concentrate, I turned the music off.

I don't listen to music while playing but when I replay recordings I've made i overlay music to suit. Danerzone by Kenny Loggins seems appropriate with my old bots in this new meta era.

Depends on my mood, but my playlist almost always start with Megadeth, “Symphony of Destruction” long/remix….

I usually play with game sound, but there are rare moments I just turn it all off and blast music instead, which is often just whatever I'm feeling like at the time.
