So, reduce the battle time to 3 minutes and have an event that requires earning an insane amount of damage to complete... and an insane amount of tickets. Great job!

EDIT: I was pleasantly surprised that today’s railgun event included the RG16 and wasn’t exclusive to RG12s. |

I couldn't help wondering if there were 3m damage to be had even in 2 battle rounds. My top battle damage is 1.9 miilion. How was I supposed to get 2.75 million?? Also, how do you see the damage you did in a match? I didn't see it in the post match screens. |

My top battle damage is 1.9 miilion. How was I supposed to get 2.75 million?? Something like a 5vs5 battle against bots, in 3 rounds, with a dual EM16 setup 😐 |

You need a dual EMR setup, ideally double EM16. You need to look for a long arena, it's important that most of your shots are at more than 75+ meters for maximal damage (but within the range of the weapon). If you see any mech with a shield, first use one weapon and then the other, never both together.
The less obvious extra tip is that with the EMs you can actually inflict more damage than the bot HP. If you see a bot with a sliver of life (and no shield active) shot both rifles together. I was told this last one, and I don't know how to confirm it. At least it's true for the damage indicator after you land the shot.
Doing all these, I was able to finish the damage mission (I guess will be more). I had something like 35 kills, with my not-maxed dual EM16 and legendary pilot epic implant for damage.

I imagine players with more than one mech outfitted with EMRs can accomplish that damage task. I was matched against a player last weekend who eliminated 44 mechs in one tourney match. Nuts.

What was the 3 million damage task? The ones for FFA that I have are all cumulative damage (12m, 18, 30m total). Was that some other task that was not FFA specific?

Not sure about the change to 3 minutes. One the one hand FFA could really be a frustrating grind, particularly if you went for it in Grandmaster. On the other, I feel like often it would come together for me in the last 2 minutes of a match and that's when I got the real fun kill streaks. |

You had to deal around 3m damage in a single battle. In any mode, except FFA since that took place a day prior to tournament time.

That reminded me, I had to use my tokens. Held off b/c I didn't want to win enough A-Coins to go onto the leaderboard of the Research Event before this morning. Needn't have bothered - I won 15 AC total among a collection of the least valuable prizes possible, lol. Held off claiming my Sunday tournament wins until today. So far I'm in 5th so we'll see how it goes. |
