 I haven't seen the video, so i have no context for this screenshot. If it is true do you think it will be a good thing, or a bad thing? As mentioned in the title, please post latest dev vid. I didn't see it in discord, nor on their forum. |

Hah everything on a path... will probably be tasks like..
Kill 2000 mechs with less than 10% health while protecting a beacon facing backwards with less than 2min remaining in a match. To get like the nade 6.

Thanks for posting, OP.
Like many of you, I imagine most of the changes will benefit Plarium.
Haven’t watched the video yet. Any changes to achievements? Hate the plasma/auto canon ones. Especially since they top out at 4/6 EN. I’d also like weapon class achievements as opposed to specific weapons.

Video summary is they are reclassifying some mechs (rare, legendary etc), replacing Killshot and Panther in the Progress Path with lesser versions, making KS/Panther pay/events only for new players, and then SOMEDAY they will add everything to the Progress Path, which they'll announce separately WHENEVER. So yeah, the changes only benefit Plarium... Oh and the narrator was wearing an weirdly interesting t-shirt. |

Probably has something to do with the 2 week break for tournaments. On Discord someone was saying that was a bug, it'll be fixed with the update, and tournament will still be on as usual. We'll see obviously but I imagine that's true. Forcing people take 2 weeks off from the grind makes as much sense for Plarium as a television station replacing its programs with a message telling kids to go play outside in the fresh air.

So if that rumour is true, we could surmise that the update will be pushed tomorrow, i.e. that we'll see Slingshot and Puma this Tuesday.

Late to ask but will costs change on ks and panther to upgrade... should I do that like... now.. There's definitely been a drumbeat to acquire bps and upgrade these 2 mechs before the update. I don't actually know that it is necessary as long as they convert existing bps at the proper ratio, especially since A-Coin costs for upgrades are set by weight class not rarity type. But people are nervous about it. If you've got the reserves, I'd go ahead and do it just in case. |
