Just got a freedom skyros. What is a good pilot to assign to this bot? I want to know what to keep an eye out for or maybe purchase if a deal comes about.
And what would be the most desirable skills to have for this pilot and freedom skyros?

I'm not sure about the skyros specific pilots, but some of the weapons based pilots are pretty good now. Have you got a weapon set in mind?

Theseus is the best - make sure you add all the tanky skills such as Stubborn Warrior, Armour Expert, etc

I’m so new that whatever weapon I get I upgrade and use until I get something good or desirable. I do look for the suggested weapons on the details page. For the freedom skyros it list the hammer, mace, cudgel and of course I don’t have any of those yet. |

Wolfblood's advice is always good. He knows this gear better than I do. I would say that your weapon choices are wider than just blast shotties though. Anything powerful at close quarters is an option (sonics, acids, flames, even cryo-rockets since the update). Pop out of the ball, big burst damage, and roll up again. That's the usual pattern.

I would say Theseus is quite good, especially late game. In my experience as a first drop the suppression pilot works like a charm due to the only resistance bypass being things like hawk beams. He also extends the life of skyros’s shield indirectly. I’d say if you have either on hand they both are pretty effective, otherwise it is up to what you enjoy.
