Just got this offer. Mini gun any good, or a waste of resources? I don’t see it a lot, which tells me it’s not being used a lot. I’m seeing some EM rifles, but I only got 1 12 and my learning curve is mountain steep…lol
Also, just got Carbine 10 unlocked. So, where’s the good investment?
Also…got a pair of Disc Launcher 8. Which Mech is the best home for those, or is it more of a strategy thing?

Minigun is a waste of resources. Too slow to make the kill. Carb 10 also isn't worth it. In general Carbines don't really hold up in endgame, although they are decent for midgame. Again the problem is speed in making the kill. Against human players they just take too long. These days I wouldn't really bother with any of the Carbines, and if any then only the 12.
EMR12 is top dawg, definitely invest in that and get the 16 as well when you can. DL8 is the least necessary of the DLs but it is good in endgame and I'd invest in it. I got the 12 and 16 first, but then I went back and got it too. Great for maxed light mechs, or R3/R4 mechs at 16EN. It can be great for completing Specialization Sprees with mechs at lower ranks. And you can mix and match it with the 12s and 16s too. Honestly it works well with any mech so try it on everything.
The main endgame weapons right now are EMRs (12, 16), Disc Launchers (12, 16), ArcTorrents (10, 12), and Shotgun 8s. Railgun 16s have been overshadowed by EMRs but are making a bit of a comeback with FFA. DL8 and EMR8 are worthwhile too, but give priority to 12s and 16s before lower energy weapons. Rocket Mortar 12 has been nerfed a bit but is still viable.

Been awhile…forgot!
Gave the game up for a time…was spending like crazy on it when I didn’t have the resources. Am back in, trying to have fun while not spending.
