So far, the only pilots to feature passive perks are the two Neymar Jr pilots. I thought it'd be fun to make a perk concept for a future non-Neymar pilot. This takes the same general idea as Neymar in the sense that it enhances an already existing feature. The perk name is "Precision Lock" and it applies to the target lock ability.
Precision lock upgrades the basic target lock ability by allowing you to deal increased damage to enemies that you lock on to. There is a catch, though - the increased damage is minimal for attacks to the front. The main idea of this perk is to significantly boost back and side damage. Additionally, the perk only applies to your direct attacks on the particular mech you're locked onto. Splash damage is not buffed (but splash damage weapons can get the buff so long as they score a direct hit), and teammates do not get the buff.
The perk does the following to damage multipliers;- Front Damage: 1.0x -> 1.05x (5% damage buff)
- Side Damage: 1.5x -> 1.65x (15% damage buff)
- Back Damage: 2x -> 2.3x (30% damage buff)

I like where you're going, but there's already so much about the game that amps damage that it's getting to be a One Shot Kill marathon.
The Sprint boost for the Neymar pilots make sense and do make me want to use them. The only reason I haven't is because I'm waiting for the next implant removal discount.
Maybe Sprint in lateral and/or reverse? Right now, the only mech that can "sprint" laterally or reverse is Paragon, so if you were to pair this pilot to Paragon, it would increase the speed of its lateral and reverse to the same as it's forward super sprint. Goalies are important in soccer right? Make this pilot a "goalie" type of pilot due to a goalie needing to sprint laterally a lot.
Another useful ability would be like having mechs stay on radar longer after the red eye is off them. This would make it an awesome fit for RM and JR types of builds.

The RM and JR don't need any more help! 😱
