So the golden Predator Drive Health implant for Stalker just got offered to me in the store. Anyone have this already? How worthwhile is it do you think? I saw at max it does 20% heal which for a maxed Stalker is supposed to be 24k HP per kill. So it seems good. But I already have the gold damage implant and most of the good weapons need three implants, so I couldn't double up.
One thought would be to put the damage on Stephania (which I am definitely doing anyway) and then to put the heal implant on Myna when I get her to pair with my ArcTorrents. Arcs can rack up kills fast but are more vulnerable to taking damage, so it seems like a good combo. But I'd be tying up implant slots on two legendary pilots for the same mech and while I have saved up the reserve, I didn't really want to spend 3100 A-Coins today. Leaning towards it, but want to check first and see what advice y'all might have...

Also, do you already own the epic Predator Drive DMG Reduction implant ? If so, this should be good enough for Myna. And it'd make the Predator Drive Health implant redundant.
If you don't have it already, you might as well wait for it. It'll offer a much better price-to-pilot-use ratio.

I didn’t use the stalker health implants much, including legendary, and they sit in storage. My own reasoning was that the damage related implants will allow you to gets kills which raises the stalkers health in itself. But I do have gold DL damage and epic radius implants significantly leveled on Stephie.

Tough choice indeed. I think the idea of spreading Stalker implants between two pilots makes sense, but you really need to switch the pilots frequently for it to be worthwile. That's why I'm a bit up in the air. One possibility is I double up the Damage and the Heal implants on Stephania and just get rid of my purple Disc Launcher DMG implant. But then I am more dependent on the drive for landing damage and if I switch Stephania to another mech, it'll be an issue. The split between two pilots seems better. Also, if I ever get Boar, I could double up and then do RM DMG and Radius implants. But that would be a ways down the line and honestly given how lethal RMs are in Stalker I don't know that I'd need the extra healing. Stalker is the most lethal mech in the game, so I don't want to underinvestment. But I don't have the scrap to level this stuff for a while. Really, if I wasn't worried that it'll be a year+ before I see this implant again, I'd pass on it now, but... |

I don't really know what to tell you. Is Stalker your first or maybe second drop? Does it survive well enough now? If you use it Every Match the gold implant might be worth it. If Stalker is third drop itmight be well to pass on it. I rarely use Stalker,which may be a mistake. May have to rethink that.

I thought it was just a weaker version of the gold DMG Increase. I have got to look at these more closely. That's the second time I didn't spot the diff between two similarly named implants. |

Right now, my Stalker is two upgrades (and 10,000 A-Coins in bps costs) away from being maxed. Because of that, I don't really use it in tourney yet as it is still at 20EN. I play it it with AT10s in CPC sometimes, but I don't have DL8s, so I can't use Disc Launchers yet. Nor can I use RM12s. But I am right at the cusp and then it probably would be my first drop with DLs on Acropolis and Fortune Towers, and a second/third on a lot of other maps. I really like my Killy for RMs but the Stalker might take that over that slot as first drop on a lot of maps too. Thing is, while I have seen it kick serious butt with AT12s, I'm not sure there are any maps where I couldn't just as easily use DL12s and be fine. It seems like that's what everyone has done lately because they've put their AT12s onto Surge. I don't have a Surge yet, and while getting this implant wouldn't delay maxing my Stalker (I'd use reserves) it would delay me getting/maxing Surge next. I'm thinking now, that it'd be better to get that done quicker rather than get this implant. I am hearing on Discord tho, that Heal implant is handy for RM builds. Still deciding, but I appreciate folks helping me talk this out. |

So I decided against getting the implant. From all the input I received it seemed like a good but optional implant and really I should just focus on upgrades. Interestingly, I then got offered the gold Shotgun Range implant in the store today, which I already had. Definitely been seeing a lot of gold offers the last 3 weeks, seems like Plarium turned on the faucet. Probably trying to get me to but more implant scrap.

Interesting. I can’t recall the last time I saw a gold implant in the store. Up until 3 weeks ago it was the same for me for months. Don't know what happened. I've felt like with implants it comes in waves. I'll win blue ones for a month from the crates and then get two purples back-to-back. Golds seem to appear in waves as well. But this has been quite a wave, not sure why. |

On the topic of legendary implants...no I don't mean Playboy...  Sigh, I'm a sucker... I picked up both the Technician packs for Javelin Racks and Shotguns. I drew the line at the Rail Gun implants though. But, I with MVP Neymar giving boosts for both Guided and CQ, I couldn't resist. This means that in my future Scout hangar, MVP Neymar can go on the Shadow with the legendary JR implants, and I'll hopefully pick up the legendary CQ pilot for my Surge, and continue to use G-Lock for the Ares and then later Stalker. |
