I realize this is dumb, but do RAs get charges from Aegis shields getting hit or only physical damage dealt to the robot? I THINK it’s the latter, but haven’t found that info online and haven’t been able to get conclusive evidence from testing: my Typhon and Erebus are so weak all the MK2+ stuff shooting the shields blows through them or else bypasses outright.

I’m confident that you have to hit the physical bot to charge RAs, not any form of shield. We have seen some strange relationships between equipment behaviors, but nothing of this nature. If shields actually did charge RAs, we would know by now.

RAs (and also IAs) can only be charged by getting your actual hull damaged, shield of any kind is excluded from charging RAs.

I've got a L5 and L1 RA pair on it. Fenrir (particularly w/ Bernie) is so freaking tanky, Nebula is not really needed imo (I ran it for a while though). I ran it w Whiteout, 2x LowDuraDef and staggered, fixed healing chips. Wickedly effective, especially w Stubborn Warrior. Currently, I’m trying out Beak but will probably return to Whiteout. Wasp has some really strong offense options and def worth a try.

I didn't switch to Wasp, but I did start running it with a Good Guy (normally running with a Mender) and T4 chips, and yeah, it's been bloody tough. The RAs charge up like THAT and I'm able to persist for a good while.
