Good idea. I don't have a massive collection, but I just sold a Khepri, a retro Rev and an Erebus. Got enough to upgrade a module. Happy with that

I was gonna make a post since there was someone who asked me here after seeing a post I made that showed my in game currency. This isn’t me bragging, this is just how I approach the game and maximize my loot. I spent a good portion doing the last upgrade before the update to get some stuff mk3. But yes, I have around 1.5 billion in silver, 45k in gold, and 11k in plat, WITHOUT SPENDING OR BUYING with real cash. So they asked how.
Ok, spider guy, have every one now. Mostly invaders and arachnids. Simple and sweet. Not all are mo3, I’d say of all the invaders maybe half are mk3.
ALWAYS ON DISCOUNT DAY, avoid the temptation of doing it just to do it.
I upgraded modules and pilots first, but only certain ones, not all.
Because I am a niche player, I sell a ton of unused robots and weps, although I will keep one of each bot, and usually 2 to 6 of each wep, most of the rest I sell.
Here’s a few tricks to get extra (for those that don’t know-
UNEQUIP all weps from regular bots, robots are one price regardless, you get more for selling weps separately. Same with titans and their modules. STRIP ALL BOTS AND TITANS BEFORE SELLING, you get more silver selling individually.
For me, if it’s a bot specific pilot, I sell it since I won’t use it. Universal pilots I keep one or two around, but sell the rest.
Drones I am also selective, so most I sell, but keep a few of each that are my style, otherwise just one.
Hopefully some of this stuff will help newer players. I’m sure the ones that have been around will know this stuff, I hope. But this is what I do, and it’s how I have a hoard of gold, silver, and plat.

This is my exact philosophy munkeeee , streamlined and patient. Edit: In some cases I do have more than one of the same bot leveled because I had already leveled a standard version before collecting a Special Edition which I leveled later (I also don't count Special Editions as the same bot only duplicates of each version). |

After todays discount, I don’t see me leveling anything else for a while. Back to hoarding mode. slow and steady is a game pix doesn’t understand that some of us have the patience for. besides, mk3 gear now has a stranglehold on expert league as well, and is rampant in masters, but like you always preach, you can have the goodies, but can you pilot them with skill? We all see them, tricked out toys but rely ONLY on that one aspect. Time to go to school son. |
