Hello, and sorry for not getting around to introducing myself sooner, even though I've been following the forum already for a while. First of all, a really big thank you and my hat off for the guys who have set up this forum and who are maintaining it. Excellent stuff and brilliantly run. I've learnt more by reading the forum than by playing the game.
I started playing War Robots in November 2016, and was hooked immediately. I'm currently in Diamond 2, I have a bit over 1900 wins, and maintain ~50% win rate, which means I've probably clocked more than 3500 rounds so far. As you can see, I'm sadly not exaggerating when I say "hooked" since that makes on average more than an hour of play a day.
The way I play War Robots might be a bit different from the usual approach. My game philosophy is no longer to level up as high as I can as fast as I can. It used to be, but a while ago I realised, that by doing so I would miss a lot of what the game has to offer. Therefore instead of building up my hangar to be as competitive as possible, I've started to diversify. I acquire different bots and weapons, also those normally considered not to be the best or most efficient. I upgrade them to the level sufficient for Diamond leagues - usually around 7 to 10 - and have fun with them, trying to learn how to get the best out of them.
I'm very happy with that approach, and I suspect it will keep me busy for a long time, especially since I am almost total F2P. I also find the Diamond leagues to be great for the purpose. The gameplay is already on a high level there, but almost all types of bots can still be used without one becoming a complete liability to the squad (Disclaimer: I don't run Destrier, Schutze or Natasha, those I did enough in the low tiers - although I am intrigued to try a leveled up Nat with Tris and Pins, or Zeuses and Gekkos).

Oops, almost forgot the personal stats: I'm Finnish but I live in Belgium. I was born in the early 70's, so I am an old flatus by gaming standards. Or probably by any standards, if you ask my son.
