I have two deals for Orion, 29.99 four star and about half that for 3 star. I feel tempted. But I don't play as much as I used to. Hmmm.  |

So I am a big Orion booster at this point and I think it runs quite well at Rank 4 for CPC, considering. At 23mph it's a pretty good initial beacon runner, especially if you can equip it with Arc 6+10. Dual MR8s perform well and sniper setups are decent.
Not sure that makes it worth $29.99 though. It's a fun mech but optional. FYI, bps come in slow, though I am hoarding my loot crates these days.

I didn't pay attention to the deal so I'm gonna head over to check it out. I'm starting to see a lot more Orions out there and they're pretty powerful but with a learning curve. The Hunters Mark can be difficult to land, especially at further ranges.
But...IDK. I don't really want to spend any more money on this game. I feel like I have enough equipment decently leveled now to be able to enjoy the game at my level. I don't always win against other humans, even those with lesser SP than me, but that's usually due to tactics and my own abilities.
I might end up passing and just waiting til it's available for in game resources. But, when it is, you can bet there will be a new OP mech released.
More of interest to me is the Legendary CQ pilot is out available for cash now. So...maybe she'll be available in a month or so or maybe even sooner for A-coins? I really want her for Tengu and SG8.

I’m with you. I think the legendary Jav damage implant is the only thing that I’d spend on now. I thought I was going to take my Orion and Stalker to 24 EN, but if I do it’ll be without purchasing a coins. I’m losing enough matches that i’m seeing trends I don’t like: 1. Match making is often determining whether I win or lose. 2. I think I’m starting to feel the hamster wheel of content-upgrades-new content, etc. 3. If I knew how effective mortar rockets were going to be I’d have saved a lot of money and skipped a whole bunch of Weapons, upgrades, implants and such. |

I think I fall in between you guys. I am annoyed a bit with the hamster wheel. I feel like mostly if I lose it's either because of AI or because my opponent had maxed pilots and implants. Surges and Stalkers are also a real problem. Just too much offensive power too quick.
But overall I am pretty satisfied with my hangar and I'm getting there on pilots. Pouring A-Coins into my Stalker now. Don't have Surge but I imagine I'll get that next, although I plan to save up the 9000+ AC to get it are Rank 5. By the time I do, I should have the last bps I need to max it.
I'd be willing to spend some still on A-Coins but the deals aren't generous enough anymore for my taste. Nowadays I only get the $4.99 calendar deal that is 200 AC per dollar plus credits and those 3-pack 99¢ deals for 5k implant scrap each.

I think Orion is a good mech. A bot squishy, but fun, especially if played with someone else with one. Ayed 2v2 with another Orion player he went left I went right and we locked down the entire field.

reconnecting - Orion isn't yet available on the progress path so you wouldn't accumulate bps before you bought it. Normally in the Inventory section, you can click on the mech and then get the screen that shows your bp count in the upper corner, but that's only gear in the progress path. I don't know if you can do the same by clicking on the offers themselves - the only one I have right now is for Shotgun 2 and I couldn't access any screen that showed a bp count. But regardless you shouldn't have any bps yet :-(

Any mech or weapon not on the path must be acquired before any crate will drop those prints |
