So except for the Stefania one, I've never really bothered with the A-Coins gacha events. But I was crunching the numbers on this one and man does it suck. Epic blueprints cost 48 AC each when upgrading. Here, assuming you'd have to try all 16 times (which I think is pretty likely to get all the bps) then it would cost 8,000 AC for 130 bps, or 61.5 AC each. I would have thought that spending so many A-Coins upfront would get you a better deal or at least similar, not far worse. I have no idea why anyone would bother with this. It's so bogus.

There was one with BP for the Arc 12 that was worth it. I thought that maybe that could happen again but apparently was an exception, perhaps a mistake. I'm not sure if they try just to confuse players or what's the goal... maybe just to fill space with something?

I'm not sure if they try just to confuse players or what's the goal... maybe just to fill space with something? I think they want to confuse players. They definitely put up all kinds of real money offers that price up the same assets differently. The less sense folks have of what per-unit costs are, the more likely they are to just impulse spend, I imagine. And people fall into different spending tiers too. Some clearly don't care what things cost. On another note, I was looking at the Shotgun 8 gacha and on a per-unit cost it does ok. If you spent the max of 8,800 A-Coins, you'd win 3,010 bps. That comes out to 3 AC per box, which is better than the normal price for uncommon blueprints of 4 AC per. And it would let folks who just won the R3 shotgun take it up to R6.2 immediately. But zooming out, it still doesn't seem worthwhile to spend that many A-Coins on Shotgun 8s. I don't imagine many folks plan on accelerating their S8s by buying bps, especially given how fast you collect uncommon bps. Except for the highest spenders who have to max everything right away, it doesn't make sense. But for those guys, there's savings to be had.
