We hadn't had one of these in a while. Let's discuss it.
The event will last one week starting today, and promises to reward assiduous players with the SG8.
A nice prize, as it's a very potent weapon.
Right now I have two questions in mind :
1) To which extent will Plarium mess with us ?
2) There's a "Get 2.500 A-coins" task, on the 1st day. Will Plarium force us to clear this task ?
The suspense is unbearable.

There's also an alternative reward of 500 A-coins for those who've already picked up the SG8. I picked it up a couple of weeks ago when it was for sale and I've just been slowly upgrading it whenever I have enough blueprints for it.

One interesting thing is that they have changed the points awarded for completing tasks - it's not just 10 Derby Points per task for this event.
The get 2,000 a coins task is worth 50 points - seems like tasks that are harder to complete are worth more points, which I think is new.

I just hope there won't be a "make an in game purchase" activity later on. Because that, combined with "get 2500 Acoins" will make the event really complicated for people not spending on the game, and I believe in theory should be the opposite.

I’ll often wait to complete tasks to see if the task coincides with another, even if it’s in a different event. It’s like killing two birds with one stone.
It will be interesting to see if this event is difficult to complete though.

I'm so tired of these Derby events. Most of the time, I ignore the tasks until the last week or so and then try half heartedly to complete whatever I'm missing. I don't think I've failed to complete a Derby yet. I just don't complete them as fast as I used to.
The get 2000 A-coins one is very sus. It's very hard to get that without spending money cause the only free way is to compete hard in the Tournaments. That's a grind that I just don't have time for. Heck, I'm happy if I get the 50, 100 or 200 A-coin prizes!
