So glad I found this. VERY interesting charts.
The guy is biased and a non-scientist but if ANY of this is true it's pretty interesting. I, for one, have been wondering about where all the electricity is going to come from for EVs.

Yep. After doing a bit of research, I've come to the conclusion it's propaganda.

There's a lot of details that are conveniently being ignored to push a narrative. It's not the panacea the masses are led to believe it is.

doesn't it just depend where the power is coming from? if it's coal-fired, it's not helping. if it's solar, it probably is

Poopface gus169Needless to day the video above isn't the last word on the subject but he's put words to what's been rumbling in my head. "So, we all convert to EV but where is that massive amount of electricity going to come from?" And for the US it'll be either natural gas or coal. I love the idea of wind and solar but we have a storage and transmission issue that will hopefully get solved sooner rather than later. I used to semi-hate nuclear but for the past 10 years I can't help but think that if the waste is stored properly AND we don't have a melt-down, it's a great alternative.

a lot of places are making nuclear work for them. still gives me the heebie-jeebies though. the alternatives are coming along though, and those ideas are harder to bury now that everyone's looking for them

There's a nuke plant located about 15 miles from where I live. Been there my entire life. As far as I'm aware, no issues the entire time.
