Today's Unicorn 1mk2 Solid Jaeger. Ahhh 「fluffernutter」 it. One for the collection and it's already mk2. That should actually be in "Cheap Sales" thread but my internet is spotty ATM due to storms. On s side note: I won it & several others free when they first got into boxes. Once again Pixonic has to keep them drop rates up...just all the same drops go to all the same people until you are ready to puke!  By that time you are even begging for the crappy drop that pays out better or for Au & Power cells.  |

For the most part you are correct, It also depends what you build it for that makes it still useful in a hanger or not. It has been buffed TWICE, just goes to show what happens when everything else is so OP. And we are talking about immediate buffs after its release, this shouldn't be the case with new bots if they tested well. The same thing happened with the community built bot Cerberus. When certain people at Pixonic have a thing for something it WILL be released and it WILL be OP. It will get all the love of bells & whistles with umpteen jillion limited editions not years after it's release. Limited editions will come out the same event, the next event, and possibly events down the line. It will have to go through several rounds of micro nerfs as well, although it tested balanced on the "bull 「dookie」" server. Why do I call it that you may ask? Nearly every game out there runs test sessions at lvl1, then mid level, then maxed. Pixonic has been testing everything at lvl8 since day one knowing this will cause issues down the line. You think they give a 「dookie」? |

I ran the normal Jaeger for a month and upgraded it to 9mk1. I want really that overjoyed with the bot so I shelved it this year. I like the look of the Solid Jaeger so I'll give it more of a run next year. To hell with the current meta though. I'll make it work. |

And this is why I don't go past Diamond League, because in this league at least I can make my favorites older bots somewhat useful. Being honest you should totally get it and enjoy it for what it is. It doesn't matter if you lose a match, or you spend the entire match camping, if you get at least a couple of kills that's what its important. I remember when I got my Behemoth (before being able to move) and all I used was Vipers. I lost like 7-8 games in a row but I didn't care because I had fun getting kills. Enjoy the game by your own rules and not by Pixonic rules. |

Or have they all been replaced by balls of steel? A wave of nostalgia swept over me when I saw this offer, but I don't think it would last too long in the current meta? |

Sonics, however I find the best Loki is a stealthed one holding down an enemy territory beacon as blue. |

Ahhhh, The Children of Ungoliant. Have 2 at Mk3 but ones a normie (but still 'BAD') and never saw this so missed out. Will be looking everyday now hoping for a return. I love my Spiders have two on my team and wouldn't think twice adding a 3rd, super beacon cappers and tuff. Takes out Loki's and Revs with sonics, withstands more than one assult from the cowardly Scorpion and even deadlier when tethered by a Kep. If this thing had a Aegis it would be the complete bad 「bum-bum」.
I'm off to petition Pix for a Aegis for this thing.

That’s awesome sir, glad you grabbed it. I run the same setup on mine, the blight/hazard currently, don’t have the special edition weapon versions yet. We touched on how to pilot it last nite with some time drop fellas. Just takes some time getting used to it’s ability and tankiness . Plus it’s jump timing is really important. But it’s a keeper for sure. Granted I been running them now for a few yrs so, I’m becoming more surgical with them. Still struggle a bit with ranged weapons as I love to brawl, especially flames and sonics on those things. Tanked out they can hold a beacon with numerous reds attention, giving your team some breathing room to move in or grab caps. It’s a sexy jumping 4 legged tank that is just too much fun! I’m having a blast with my unicorn! |

Not the fastest, not the baddest, not meta or OP. But play them enough it’s awesome, and has it’s own style. I really dig the tandem effect with taller bots, since spiders sit low rider style, you can have another bot behind you dealing damage at the same target, instead of fighting for position. Not many believe me when I say I run all spiders, minus the titans. But that day will come. THATS my next unicorn. enjoy, cheers. XI chuckle from time to time with this hangar. I have to remember to save it, but my next Au/Gold drop from BM box, I will buy a Raijin to place my Decay on (currently being leveled, 1/1 standard/unknown)... don't go stealing my build haters! Only worried about fast movers (because Raijin is STILL the only spider stationary while deployed) that I may have to change the build to Smuta & do a Decay Wayland instead. I still don't have the Adrian for it but I'm praying for an Otto drop or another Manni. I would prefer Otto but let's keep it real, it would go on a build I would use more often. So...Adrian or Manni w/+30% damage on the Raijin when deployed, most likely running Lock-down or Shield breaker. YUMMEHZ!  Edit: It's OK if munkeeee does it, but I don't want to see my build rampant all over the server before i get to deploy mine!  |

Not to mention only has one mod slot, but bastion mode would be evil with you running it and the way you take over caps and hold them. Decay weapon family are great, just not thrilled about their rate of fire. Now bastion mode with nucleons really pisses folks off. Takes all of 2-4 sec for them to cool down just enough to get back on target for a bit. Continuous fire is nice. Calamities are great if you have a little distance and have a dancing khep in your scope. |
