I have pushed my Firebomb Harpy out of my beacon hangers, but this may bring it back in as a strong center support bot. This is how I used my Harpy in beacon games but subbed in a second Khepri because, Khepri. I don’t like the stale gameplay of two of one bot in a hanger typically but as I’ve been “training” in beacon games I figured a more straight up beacon hanger would be better. Now that the training wheels can come off, I think I’m gonna give this bird another go. Main point is on heavily contested beacons, Harpy firestorm and the flamebomb bump effects can be greatly magnified. I’d love to hear if Daniela1 can verify Manni’s claim.

Now that the training wheels can come off, I think I’m gonna give this bird another go. Main point is on heavily contested beacons, Harpy firestorm and the flamebomb bump effects can be greatly magnified. I’d love to hear if Daniela1 can verify Manni’s claim. Manni's claims are indeed true. Harpy's firestorm damage increases massively when there are multiple robots in one area, even more so than standard Blast rockets since firestorm can accumulate the bomb effect on multiple targets at once while standard blast rockets can only accumulate bomb effect on one target at a time. Firestorm's total damage output increases massively with more robots in close proximity. Firestorm on: 1 robot: 25k damage 2 robots: 100k damage total (50k on each robot) 3 robots: 225k damage total (75k on each robot) 4 robots: 400k damage total (100k on each robot) 5 robots: 625k damage total (125k on each robot) 6 robots: 900k damage total (150k on each robot) And all these damages completely ignore resistance and shields. Harpy's firestorm itself also applies drone chip effects. With the right drone chip combination, you can cripple a group of enemies while also giving them huge damage. Standard Blastcharge rockets don't experience the same massive growth as firestorm does. But it still helps having multiple reds nearby. Blastcharge rocket Blast effect total damage per effect activation. 1 robot: 25k 2 robot: 50k 3 robot: 75k 4 robot: 100k 5 robot: 125k 6 robot: 150k A Yang Lee Harpy with Blast Rockets is an excellent setup to get rid of multiple clustered enemies on a beacon. However, it's best played in a support role. The ideal situation would be blasting your enemies away while your teammates tanks pushes and capture the beacons. Beware of teleporters and fast close range raiders, as a Blast Harpy lacks the means to defend itself against them unless your ability is ready. Overall I think it is a solid setup. Overall

It is indeed a mass-killer. I'm not against these bots in beacon hangers BUT I am with Thunderkiss when you see these spawn first. The ONLY reason I could see dropping one of these first is in co-op squad play with a plan for it in mind.

I usually start with rev or Ravana to fight kver first beacon, once that die to 2-3 kephris i launch my harpy and shredd through them. Also i use freezer chip on paralysis drone.
