Been at War Robots a pretty long time. I have been saving PT and Gold in hopes I can buy the new weapons for my hanger especially the Lantern. Been running into many players that have it already. Not sure how they got it since you can’t buy it presently.
I think and new weapon needs a counter measure module. Otherwise , imho, it gets bad as back when the Hawk first came out. Then they had to nerf it.
My hanger is ok, AoMing 160 with Alpha and Beta weps at max, all my bots MK3, weps high but not all maxed.
even with that set up, my wins are 52% last 50 games.
looking for any tips to improve my set up

The players with Lanterns and Dazzlers likely got them in the last event or this one by either grinding out the Purple event Tokens or purchasing them (Tokens) as the weapons are not yet available for purchase and will remain so for some time (at least 6 months). |

Thanks. I have not spent gold or whatever to get into events. Any going on now I should try?

That is the goal of the match maker is to keep everyone hovering around 50% +/- 15ish%. You can max you gear and all it will do is make the players you face also have MK3 gear. Depressing, I know. There are ways to get you win % high and those include joining a top level clan and go stomp on all the solos (pretty lame), jump into Free For All matches and you should be able to raise your win percentage there as well because the top 3 places “win” if I’m not mistaken (someone here will definitely correct me if not). You can usually only get the newest gear in event chests or YouTuber giveaways. you didn’t mention your modules, but I assume those are maxed? If not that is another place to focus. Honestly, pilot skills are most impactful for the cost if you’re paying to speed through up leveling your gear. Weapons should always hit MK3 before your bot does. Drones should not be ignored either if you are looking to max everything. I’ll warn again though - all that will mean is that your competition will have the same level gear. It all evens out in the wonderful world of MatchMaker. |
