OT: Creating A Monster

My soon to be 4 yr old son had been "sharing" his mom's coffee this past summer. Since school started, mom is usually out the door before he gets up, leaving the task to me. Somewhere in all this, "Dad, can I have some coffee?", has morphed into, "Dad, where's my coffee?"
I'm guessing I'll have to take the blame, seeing that it has been a running joke at our house perpetrated by yours truly. So, having created my own little monster, I dutifully get him his vanilla creamer tinted with a touch of coffee. I'll wait a few more years to explain what "decafe" means. 🤣
