After Jeb and Dunderhead posted a couple of times about Amazon not being able to connect to the game, I decided to dig a bit and see if anything was going on in regards to Amazon’s relationship with Russia. Turns out Amazon has decided to severely restrict its services in Russia, particularly its cloud and computer-based services. Additionally, it is restricting payments going to the country. If I had to guess, I bet this is why the matchmaker is down for the platform. I was not able to find any news directly saying it’s game service was suspended, but given that Amazon Prime is officially suspended in Russia, I bet the game service also is too. www.pcmag.com/news/amazon-halts-shipments-to-russia-suspends-prime-video-in-the-country?amp=trueI bid all you Amazon players good luck, and here’s to hoping that the current matchmaker blackout turns out to just be a technical issue, not the result of a boycott. Again, I could not find anything directly stating Amazon’s game service was suspended, so the situation is currently up in the air until official statements are made.

Games are running again this morning so it looks like it was that configuration issue, I'm guessing. This isn't the first time it's happened.
