Can run them in the same hangers now… a good example of just how the Meta shifts. Once the most dangerous bot in the game, the Eldritch Ares is a shadow much like Fafnir. Barely relevant, which is unfortunate because it is a very cool looking bot with a powerful ability, but the epitome of the glass cannon.  |

I don't find Fafnir, Siren, or Harpy to be threats...unless they're using Bendies. Slap maxed Bendies on anything in my hangar, and it'll be Meta. |

I still run my Eldritch Ares and basically have never stopped, and it is equipped with Pulsar/Magnetar, which I think may be the best setup for it. The damage is great and the effect accumulation is great for drone chips, and the default status effect being lockdown means I 100% have the ability to keep enemies from getting too close. But, to give my two cents on Ares’ viability in the meta, I want to say right now that those who think Ares is bad because its shield is not impenetrable anymore do not understand the bot. The shield is not a crutch, but instead a catalyst, for engagement, and only the inexperienced rely on it to be effective. You have two medium and two light weapons, which is more than enough firepower, and good speed to boot. Ares can easily take advantage of the extra 100 meters Pulsar, Wasp, and Hussar have on the Bendies, with the shield being a get-out-of-jail-free or to slant a engagement once the enemy not having shield bypass is confirmed. Ares also does well against titans due to them never being able to bypass shields. Ares is not top meta, but it is not worthless, not by a long shot. |

So a week after getting the cthulhu khep It is at L7 with almost 195k HP. Running all magnatar build pretty good so far.
