In that scene where they boarded the pirates vessel. The pirates had trained some kids which they initially thought was harmless so they went past them but the kids picked up some guns and shot back. So they had to return fire and killed them all.
Also all of the main characters from IBO where trained as soldiers since they were kids as they were all unwanted orphans. The themes are definitely not for children.

PG-13 is parental guidance recommended for children 13 and below) R (Restricted to audiences 18 and above)

I am assuming you are not a US native. TV and movie standards vary from country to country. If you are a US native PG-13, R, NC-17 should be easily recognizable.
The IBO is from just general gundam websites because Iron Blooded Orphans is just too long compared to say Gundam Wing, Gundam Seed or Gundam Unicorn.

I have a friend who is very much into all things german: his wifi basestation is called Sitzpinkler, this would be lost on most americans. The thing I have learned in chatting with him, and this conversation highlights, is a big difference between German, and American English. Our german friends when faced with something complex will shove 3 or 4 words together to make a new word. Americans make up silly acronyms to describe complex concepts. My point being is that there is more than just your feelings about America going on here, we, as cultures, approach language differently! |

Sorry to say I didn't like the series so much, as well as the ending.
I did like Gundam Unicorn though and will look forward to its sequel, Gundam Twilight Axis. Not necessarily a sequel, Gundam Twilight Axis takes place after the events of Gundam Unicorn but before that of Gundam F91.
