I always hear that this offer, a 2 star variant of a really powerful bot for $2.99, is not worth it at all and the offer should be avoided.
Honestly though, for me to get it 60k xp before I should, and considering the best setup for it is AT 6, and I was able to get it to 3 star very easily to mount AT 6, was totally worth it.
ifs health is really low, but that’s something I’ll fix with time, I really don’t see why it’s so hated on, this bot is absurd with AT and health isn’t an issue if you aren’t caught off guard (I’m sure a 4 star would die just as fast if a tank caught it with its ability down)
I’ve been waiting to get a zeph in my hangar, and for only 3 bucks, I’m pleased.

For instant grabs, if you get it early enough in the XP path, I would think your experience would be the norm.
I think most of the hate is that if you waited till it was unlocked and got it with in-game currency, it would already be leveled a good bit and is a better use of resources. Personally, I think it is a perfectly good deal and as long as you don’t mind upgrading it, the added oomph you get at early XP stages makes gathering those resources needed to upgrade it, that much easier. 6 in one hand…
BTW… If you like the dual AT 6, wait till you get it to EN 20 and get your AT 10 bought and copied… fun times!

One thing that really grinds my gears about this game is the way that lategame weapons work… needing to max it out for a second copy, wouldn’t that cost thousands of acoins, and be pretty useless for the perioid that it’s not upgraded?

Some aren't useless, especially when paired with a good complementary weapon.

Some aren't useless, especially when paired with a good complementary weapon. just as an example, RG carb12 is a good pairing until you get a 2nd copy of either or both

Plenty of mixed builds work fine. Example: MR 12 + CB 12… Both weapons require 6 star to copy (not max, just 6.1) but are great together until you get them there. Mine ARE copied but I run that build a lot. CB 12 + MR 8 works well too… and many other combos that are just as viable, exist. That cost in upgrading isn’t bad for an item that you get already at 4 or 5 stars… which is why people say getting the lower star items for cheap is a mixed deal. Mechs can’t be copied anymore, true, so your Zep is fine… but you will want to upgrade it for more EN eventually. I don’t have a good link to the cost database anymore… but I believe that there is a link or a separate post that gets into upgrade costs in the stickies… def worth knowing so you can plan out what to save and what to spend.

Here is a link to Scapes spread sheet, but with all the mech's and weapons being offered earlier im not sure how up to date it is. docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/e/2PACX-1vSSkn0ADktTq2CMr8VOObb8i0HKIseT-7ZJBYIRa8hkO4sFF3Z2ZScvWmcrDT81OHEc6N0dBYnzY6ga/pubhtml
