Haven't seen this thing in action but based on the stats out of the box, it appears to have the same stats of the regular JR6 PLUS Slowdown. That pretty much makes it JR6 2.0 and the old version is now obsolete.
While I may worry about facing this thing in the hands of a competent player, my main concern is that it will become a precedent in how they develop 'new' items. Corroding Missile Racks, Igniting Carbines, Stunning...
I wonder if there is a way or a time when Plarium listened to the player base on making changes bec if there's a time to make a noise, now would be it.
I think a nerf is needed. A few possibilities like the ff:
- Remove the Double Damage Chance
- Longer Reload Speed
- Shorter Range
