Sorry if this isnt allowed but all my searches ended in vain. I used to be able to view images posted in threads here but after (coincidentally?) registering I could no longer see them.
They are appearing as a broken image icon of sorts.
Any idea how to resolve this?
BTW, I'm on desktop. Chrome if that matters.

Or...go up next to your browser window and tap the three dots to get a menu. Tap Desktop Site. See if that changes it for the better. Might have to reload the page.

Also on Desktop... I don't use Chrome but it shows up in Brave and Edge, both of which use Chromium. Almost has to be a setting... will see if I can find anything.

GenValentine - when you look into the address bar when fully logged in, does it show "https://..." or "http://..." at the beginning of the URL?

It reads https:// ... ...I did try Googling it and few results were interesting - that it has to do with the security mumbo jumbo. im not techie enough to understand. Got exasperated and gave up. Then I thought to try and get help here. Odd thing is that the images loaded fine (when I was a Guest) before I registered as a user.

Just wanted to share that I have finally resolved this issue by reconfiguring the DNS to Google's 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4
