One must play this weekend Skirmish. All OG Legacy. Boa, Schutze, Golem, Destrier, Vityaz. No magic. Original weapons. Exactly like Cdr. Crimmins 's regular hangar. Due to lots of regular practice. I nailed.  Post your results let's see how we all fair up on a level field. |

Any argument against it on basis of bot obsolescence or redundancy fails immediately on the ground that at any one time only 3 to 5 bots are top meta anyway and the other 50 or so are functionally just as 'bad'.with many (Natasha vs Hawk anyone? Vityaz vs five others? Six?) far more obsolete than three bots whose weapons loadouts remain unique in the game.

Pixonic’s official reason for the Golem and Boa being removed from the store is that they did not fit into the (now not so) new player progression system introduced in update 4.5 (shown in the picture below), leading to them being removed for supposed modernization. Why exactly they were deemed to be out-of-date and why Pixonic is dragging its feet on their re-introduction are both unknown.  Schutze was removed in update 3.7 because it apparently had some technical issues and bugs that needed addressing. What exactly these issues were and why Pixonic still has not fixed them is also unknown. It seems these bots will forever remain mysteries and collector’s items! |

I got a Dom game and we won, on PP, but of course War Robots crashed without showing me the summary. So I tried again. TDM. AGAIN. On Rome. Early on I noticed my team was down 3 players so I just hung in there and made the Reds pay for every foot of ground. Even got a Destrier kill.  |

Early on I noticed my team was down 3 players… That’s the problem with Skirmish, so many people leave/suicide. I think they’re farming ads and wish they’d remove that loser incentive. But I guess it could also be they don’t like the map or mode, or hangar when there’s differentiated hangars. This Skirmish would be perfect if only it was 6v6. |

I do not know who thought Walking would be fun. Moon map a smol map and crawling around the ridge was painful.

Sure, it was decent in the very early game and you can get some meme kills with Thunder, but nobody really used the bot seriously in the mid and high leagues. |

I personally got stuck in a zone I havent been in for years from the moment I played this skirmish. Im relly loving that the Destrier has the molot missile combo. Its so much fun. Ok came up for air and going back in  |

Back in the day the Death Ostrich, as the Thunder Shutze was known as, fought many battles against the Mag Geps. They slaughtered noobs just as good as the Geps did and I (sadly) sold one of my Shutze's off because it was honestly too easy. This was in the Hangar Strength days, when Walking War Robots became huge and the player base was expanding crazily. No one used them in the (player defined) silver or gold leagues but then again, no one used Geps up there either. As the only light bot that mounts a heavy weapon, they are prized possessions on Light Nights in 6 Pack Fight Club. I've also used mine on NoHeavyHighlander nights and OneLightMinOneHeavyMax nights. as for meme kills, here's my Shutze Zenit kill, June 25th, 2021.  |

Just like the 2 Ares's, 2 Loki's, Hades, Kid and Ming my L9 Cossack has taken out. I won't bother with the screenies but they are delicious. The point isn't that the Cossack or Shutze is a meta bot, or a frontline bot, or is particularly dangerous to any healthy bot out there. It's that it's fun to get kills with these guys, and other old forgotten bots. |

Not saying that they are good. But when you play them just right, keep them alive and get the odd kill with it. It's just a really fun time for me. But that's the thing not everyone enjoys every bot. I can't stand playing Ravanas and Ares. |
