Not one to normally diss an opportunity to earn free stuff, but I think they've got the timings on this one wrong.
The event lasts seven days and there are 18 prizes available for one ticket each. You get one free ticket.
So far, with the four day Battlethon and Development Derby, you only have the opportunity to earn two more tickets.
Not that great an incentive to grind or drop a little cash.

dukeofadvil if you want or need another high EN mech in your hangar, the Paragon is actually worth leveling. But yeah, this Event sucks. It's a clear rip off of Pix's event tactics. We should get at least 2 more events this week, an Accolade Challenge and a Specialization Spree. The Spree is usually Ares, which I don't run...but if I want another token, I guess I should take it out of storage. I'm not impressed at all...and the Disk Launcher doesn't seem worth it. It's basically a RPG with slightly higher stats and lock on.

Yea, taking a hard pass on all of this.
Even if there are 5 free spins to the event (1 to start, 4 weekly events) that's still $75 USD to get all of the items in the pot and/or a guaranteed Disk Launcher.
I think I'd prefer to preorder Destiny 2: Witch Queen with how much of a chunk Plarium asks for.

Launcher 8 will be 878K credits on release, 12 and 16 will probably be the same cost as the other Prototype weapons in those energy slots. Because we're still able to get blueprints after having enough BP to max an item, the asking price for those items is hella steep, be they grind to get or flat cash. Was thinking about making this my "main" game for my play budget, this definitely halted that consideration. Especially because I only play games for a limited time, only while at home, and the money the game is asking is better spent elsewhere. |

Haha, yeah, I was tempted for all of 5 seconds for the skin...because KS is the only mech in my hangar without a Prototype skin. Meh, it's also something lots of folks have, so I'll pass.

I saw some clanmate's vids and it looked like accuracy was lacking... did you notice that, as well? Like... it wasn't really locked for every shot and was easy to dodge...?
I'll definitely find a way to use any flavor I get, but I am hoping for the largest EN variant. Would be swell.

Shouldn't this work like buying A-Coins or credits where you get a BETTER deal instead of a worse one? I would think they will fix this soon as it should be greater than 20 tokens for $100. And with only 18 possible prizes with a 1 free token and events also supplying the tokens, who would even make that purchase? Looks like someone a Plarium can't math.
BTW, my free spin got me the 300 Panther credits ... but I have that bot maxed so they are worth nothing? Cannot even exchange extra blueprints for credits, A-coins, or other mech blueprints. NOT COOL.
2nd spin netted the 85,000 credits. I'll take these for sure.

I haven't counted yet, but I suspect there are only 20 prizes and since you get one free token, only 19 tokens available for purchase. Prizes are removed from the pool as you get them (can only be aquired once) so the odds on the rest go up. I prefer this as it means that you can get everything and there is a maximum you can spend to ensure that (even though I won't be spending that). Kinda funny they didn't just make sure there are 21 prizes so the $100 for 20 tokens worked out. Russia indeed... |

Not sure yet, I put it on my KS.. was going to do zeph but wanted to be able to move around at ease and see how it was.. Accuracy/Locking is.. different.. think more RPG play style as others have mentioned.. I haven't figured out how it truly locks on if they are behind something.. feel like it has to fire before they hide then it'll track. It's free so I'll mess around a bit with it and go from there.. don't think it will be dominate and feel the higher EN MR and JV will be better. It's surprising they haven't put a new mech/weapon into the game that just dominates. |

Weapon plays a lot better if you aren't using vertical aim.. which is sad to see and they really need to add the locking feature to that setup.

It's surprising they haven't put a new mech/weapon into the game that just dominates. That's what I love about this game. I'm honestly a bit relieved that DL continues the trend of mediocre new gear. The best mechs in this game are still the ones everyone gets for free at the start and that makes for such better matches. I also like how they made the odds way better for Killshot and Panther blueprints compared to the other mechs. Yeah that kinda sucks for the folks who've already maxed those, but that's still a pretty small crowd and not the ones who really need to upgrade their hangars anyway. |

My strategy was to do the 5 keys vaults until I cleared the skins except the lower percentage dropped exotic skins. Once they are cleared, the 5 key vault percentages for 6,250 credits show as 42.9%. That is the indication to avoid the 5 key vault further and switch to the 10 key vault. It has the highest chances of getting A-coins and credits. The 20 key vault has a low percentage to get the A-coins and it elevates the percentages of getting skins that are available in the 10 key vault. |
