After having it on my mind for a little while now, I think I am going to join 6 pack league and relive the old days of War Robots while growing more acquainted with some of you here! So yeah, but bad news is even though I have decided to do this, it is still going to be a while before I actually join. Literally all of my gear is above level 6, so I will need to build a hangar from scratch, which is fine since legacy gear is cheap and quick to level. The issue is I have my upgrade queue full with my mk 3 Jaeger project, and I want to go finish that before doing anything else, so unfortunately it will be a while.
Until then though, I got some questions so I can begin planning my hangar so I can hop right to building it after my Jaeger is finished. I see that there are bot and weapon guides as sticky threads here, but they are two years old so I bet they are not completely up to date. So, what bots and weapons are hot right now in 6 pack, and are there any I should avoid? Also, are there any tactics I should know about that I do not encounter in normal play? In the guides I read about teamwork tactics with Anciles, so I’m referring to stuff like that. Let me know all that and anything else, I look forward to getting to play in 6 pack!

In the guides I read about teamwork tactics with Anciles, so I’m referring to stuff like that. Let me know all that and anything else, I look forward to getting to play in 6 pack! That's great, you'll find some of the most knowledgeable, friendliest players in the game in 6pack. One of the best things is you can get a hangar together really fast and cheap, for instance Griffin and Leo both are level 6 right out of the box, and you can do a lot of upgrading while you are saving AG for your big live server upgrades. I'm not sure what platform you are on, but the rules and meta are slightly different on iOS and Android. I play Android, if you are on iOS I'm sure Cdr. Crimmins (who's @ I can not find right now) can help. There are plenty of Leos, Natashas, and Griffins around, and you can definitely field all punishers, thunders and be effective. RDB Griffin is a popular AG build for the mid-range, but don't build more than one, bacon wins ballgames. Mediums are a bit trickier on the cheap, but Fujin, Patton and Doc are OK and can be had for silver, even the mighty Vityaz makes an occasional appearance. For lights, Gareth is the best you can do for silver, but Pinatas Jessie is fun too. If you have a bit of gold to blow, Galahad is one of the best 6pack bots, and you might as well get a Lance started in the workshop. Stalker can be quite good for 500au too. Bolt is I think Android only, but if you are desperate for dash it is the only choice. Spin some silver crates and you'll probably get some high end 6pack gear, Rhino, Carnage, Rogatka,Fury, Tarans, magnums, Zeus, all popular. In terms of tactics, I had to learn that I couldn't tank (Leo isn't a Fenrir or tFalc) like I do in live server. You are probably going to get lit up at first, there are some VERY good players and it takes a minute to get used to the feel. Jump on the discord, I cant figure out the invite right now, but I'm 7Chandrian#7617 DM me and we'll get you in. You are also going to need a Facebook account to get into the custom games. Fair warning: it's a little tough to get a game going right now, but it usually pick up a bit when it gets colder. Your best bet is weekends at 3pm Eastern time, sometimes 9pm gets a game going too. Even then it can take some time to get 8+ players together.
Hope to see you out there!

Just grab a few stock Leo’s and griffins without leveling them or their weapons. That is if you want to join in without delay. They will play very well if you are patient. Especially the Leo. Once you can play a couple times, then you kinda get in the groove and figure out how/what you want to play. Yes, the tarancilot is the “king”. But the power discrepancy between that and other bots isn’t that huge as long as the others are played correctly.
I’m on iOS and we play every Wednesday and Saturday night at 9pm est. Sometimes we play an hour. Sometimes for 2 plus. Sometimes we have two games playing at the same time with over 12 people. Most times just the one. ALWAYS having fun!

7Chandrian covered everything pretty well! (And Eradicator1!) I can clarify that the Bolt and Gust (honestly, all) of the 6Pack legal bots and weapons get used in the iOS Fight Club. One week we will do any legal 6Pack hangar (Casual aka No Holds Barred Except 1 Ancilot per Hangar Limit) then the next week we will do something different that generally limits or eliminates heavies. The bots and weapons lists are up to date here, 6Pack is the closest thing to an eternal format you will find. Despite that, the meta is ever changing, because when people start bringing more rockets, Anciles proliferate and then when energy shields are everywhere Plasma comes back out to play. Guns are always solid, teamwork is key and that and skill are more important than gear (within limits, 5 stock Natasha’s will only get you so far). There are definitely differences between iOS and Android but rather than hash them out here I would join the discord that matches your platform and get to know people. Throw 9mil Ag at a hangar of Leo's and Griffins to start and dive right in without worrying about everything being L6. Getting your feet wet will start showing you your strengths and weaknesses, help the 6Packers to get to know you and you them, and show you, rather than tell you, which bots impress you on the field of battle. Hope to see you on either server (I'm on both, though play on iOS) soon! Android 6P discord

Cdr. Crimmins 7Chandrian I am trying to get into the Discord server but the links appear to have expired. Can one of you two please send a new one for the iOS server? I've DMed you a fresh link good for 7 days. This week we are doing Tarnished Silver (silver bots, any legal 6P weapons). Next Week, back to Casual. Hope to see you there!
