Pay to win is out of control. I now only check in on War Robots during Warhammer 40k LC maintenance downtime. War Robots P2W has always been annoying but this has inspired a rare rant. The first game I play in a week and iOS matchmaking gives me this. Got creamed by a Silver II league Mk2 Boombox Devastator Orochi. He has more damage than all 11 blue and red players combined because everyone lost interest in playing. Ok yeah it happens frequently so is Pixo reminding us low$ players that we're there to be farmed? Motherships? 1995 Comand and Conquer GDI Ion cannon strike anyone? All I want out of War Robots now is to be witness at the exact moment it jumps the shark.

Yeah lots of meh games lately. Amazing how one good meta bot with drones, chips etc etc can dominate a game.
Matchmaking has always been and always will be trash now its just worse I think because of the lack of players on.

I agree with the topic, but I cannot help but point out the Minos with one Kisten on it!

Froodles weapons are really handy and I would use them more often BUT Pix consistently nerfs everything all the time. So even when I P2W, Pix takes that away too.
I'd say Pix are jumping the shark now-ish. We have a good, experienced, hard fighting clan on Comms and last night this 2-clan squad 5-capped us twice in around 1 minute or less. The lag was BAD, but regardless I was dang butt-hurt over their over-spending to stay on top. Good for them but the next time that happens I won't be dropping bots, I'll let my clan know tonight.
Seriously, it must be boring for them too. Roll a full squad in 90 seconds, rinse and repeat. I choose not to make them feel better about their miniscule genitalia.
AND I just found out that flippin' Pix charges the USA more for the event tokens than other parts of the world. Why? Charge what the market will bear. Sca-rew Pix. Let them jump that shark. Let it burn. All of it.

Waiting? Waiting.
My friend, that shark is so far behind us that soon we will be coming up on it again from the other direction!

US companies charge the US public more than they charge the rest of the world - been that way since the 70s, when medicine/healthcare was turned into a profit center…everything else has followed suit since

We were told it's economy of scale and distance from everyone else. Yeah sort of understandable.... When the digital era hit and we were still being charged higher amounts for things like downloadable software and music etc, then it became a bit of a joke. Back to OP. I think we jumped the shark a while ago now. Haechi was Fonzi suiting up in leather jacket and shorts and then with the introduction of lockdown weapons and the Ares era he made the first successful jump.

Funnily enough it's one of those songs that I never turn over the radio station if it's on. That and "Can't touch this" by MC Hammer, "Ice Ice Baby" Vanilla Ice... Ahh the cheesy nostalgia hits you right in the the feels.
