So i'm not the point where my next buy would be CB12 but I want to make a 2nd copy of it immediately once I unlocked it. How much resources do I need to achieve this.

Hopefully by now, you've accumulated decent amounts of blueprints. That's what happened to me. By the time I got the CB12, I had enough stored away to almost clone it.

The thing is I want o buy it and double it as soon as I unlocked it in the exp track. Do you guys know how much resources I need to save for something like that?

7500 A coins to buy, sorry, Redfiend's version of the stat document is deleted. Maybe he'll update it when he gets a chance.

Hmm so almost 14K a coins including the rankup cost to Rank6. That's a lot for a F2P like me. Seems like a bad idea.

Just remember that CB12 works well on it's own too. No need to clone it. I cloned mine and rarely do I pull out both CB12s on the same mech or even on two separate mechs.
Good pairings, depending on your EN capacity are:
with TL6, SB12, PC6/8, heck even TL4
IMO, it's not a nice to have weapon, but a need to have.

That's nice but keep in my this is a F2P account. This basically means that if im buying a weapon I will have to use 2 copies of it. Also personal preference but as much as how effective they can be, I hate asymetrical build. It does the job but it doesn't look right for me.

Totally get where you're coming from with respect to asymmetrical builds. I used to be pretty anal about that too, but in this game, when you start using the EN12 and EN16 weapons, they tend to do just fine on their own so that lets you put a different with different characteristics on the other mount and increases your overall versatility. Totally get the wanting two CB12s too as it makes it easier to just hit the big red button and focus on movement. Just remember that a single CB12 is like a pair of similarly leveled PC6s - the PCs will have greater total damage and better range, but the CBs will have better DPS and lets you unload faster and get back into cover.
Plus, when you're fighting in asymmetrical builds, it makes you adopt the good habit of corner shooting and firing one at a time, re-position, and fire the other weapon. For example, with the RG16/RM12 build on my Panther, I corner shoot with the RG16, and then step out and throw out the SF to cover my retreat and then turn around and fire the RM12 from around 46m on a target that is likely in stasis so more rockets hit.
At higher levels, this game almost turns into a FPS with mechs. Engagement times go way down, and a lot of combat turns out to be how can kill the other faster.

Yeah totally agreed to all you said. I know at 1 point I'll have to give up the symetry. For example at R5 im planning on a PC8+SB16 on Panther. But I also have to consider that I don't have enough resources to upgrade many weapons at once. As F2P, I think upgrading as less items as possible is my way to do it. Really it's Effeciency vs Versatility and I chose Efficiency. My Idea is what would I do in a versatile Hangar If I cant level them up properly.
