 Was in diamond III, placed in diamond III. No extra gold. Yep, that was my experience with diamond 2 / diamond 2. So now we have seen a screenshot. Will someone late to the conversation who screenshots or video captures their game a lot show us the other version, where they got rewarded for qualifying into a league they had previously placed in? Would be best to know gold before and after too. Or can a tanker confirm they are getting rewarded again as they move up this week? Not that tabkers are to be trusted because the forum doesn't have a way to enforce a no lying policy, so obviously lying is a legitimate use of the forum. -Amid I don't have complete photo evidence. iOS and qualified into D3 thirty days ago, moved up to middle of D2 by end of thirty days (2550-2600, not certain), ended season and got 120 au, started new season and did not receive any au. Photo of league end reward, before qualification was completed.  photo of league placement after qualification, no reward received and I have images of the main hangar before and after so I'm certain (9 au difference due to 5 game qualification earnings)  |

Because I'm gonna chuckle if I'm right, you don't get paid for advancing to a league you've been at already, and all this has been a tempest in a teapot  |

Wow now I know what to spend all my wsp on. 5 lvl 1 stalkers with lvl 1 mags to alternate with my regular hanger. I'd bet I'll see quite a lot of squads with 5 Cossacks now that league payout is over. |

So we still don't have anyone who has actually qualified for a league that's lower than their previous best, then moved up to a league they were previously in and got the advancement award a second time? Because I'm gonna chuckle if I'm right, you don't get paid for advancing to a league you've been at already, and all this has been a tempest in a teapot I was in sliver 1 about 2 weeks ago... I finished firmly in sliver II --- My screen shows a gold reward for promoting to sliver I will happily respond when I get back up there. As soon as I'm done verifying that there isn't a reward for moving down I will move back up. I would also like to note, that I saw "reward for sliver I" hours before the season ended.... it was like the whole thing got reset early. |

Or are we assuming that because it says the next league is 80 gold or whatever that we'll actually get paid when we move up? Because I wouldn't put it past Pix to have the posted reward for leagues show up the same for everyone, and then do a payout check when you get there to see if you already got it... iOS:
Last season I placed into D3. During the season I'moved up to D1 and then oscillated between D1 and D2. Received cumulative rewards for placing into D3 and the one-time rewards for hitting D2 and D1. At the end of last season I received a payout of 130 gold. Played my five "qualifying matches" and placed into D1 (as expected if qualifying matches are just regular play). On qualifying I received another 130 gold. It is possible that my league score may have dipped below D1/2900 during the qualifiers as I was at 2930ish at the end of the season and I lost three of the qualifiers (getting matched against 12/12's and having a tanker on your side is awesome).

Seems quite random. -Amid Given what people are saying, yeah. That said, I don't think the combined end of season plus qualifying bonus ends up going too bad as a reward. I'm not really about to complain about 160 free gold in a day as a reward for just playing normally. It is a bit silly to fully reset league upgrade rewards because that only rewards tankers. Resetting one or even two below the player's top performance isn't so bad. |

Gold for dropping a tier I just got gold for dropping a tier, too. Last week I was in Silver III. I made it to Silver II Just before the season ended. I got the Silver II reward at the end of season, even though that was my original place when leagues began. I just finished my five qualifying matches, lost most of them and got the gold reward for placing in Silver III. This whole thing is asinine. The reward system definitely benefits those who tank matches the last part of a league season and climb back up for the first part of the next. Meanwhile, Pixonic is "aware of the problem", said they would temporarily isolate tankers weeks ago, didn't actually do it, communicated horribly about it, said this week they would improve communication, told us they would start isolating tankers Thursday, Thursday said they couldn't do it yet, and two days later... No communication, nothing done about tankers. We've handed them cases on a silver platter of obvious tankers that 「fluffernutter」 honest players over daily on the way down and on the way back up. And not only are they committed to dealing with the issue in a way that doesn't work and they are failing to execute, it is insufficient motivation in the first place. I hope they are enjoying the money I spent on this game, because I'm not. |

So I'm trying REALY hard to demote gracefully, giving my team a chance but just loosing.... and it isn't working because the concentration of special needs people seems to be on reds (GET THE BEACONS RED)
So I hand the phone to my 10 year old:
Me: Son I need you to loose about 10 games in a row I can't do it any more
Son: Why do you want to loose
Me: I think they pay you for loosing
Son: Thats ?firetruck?ing stupid (hands me back the phone in a refusal to participate in said stupidity)
My 10 year old thinks its dumb, and I didn't even yell at him for swearing because he's ?firetruck?ing right

During March league I made it to Gold 1. I dropped back down to Gold 2 before the league ended.
I qualified in Gold 2 for the April league (received no placement gold) and my game says I have already received my bonus for Gold 1 and will not receive another.

The screen says I will... thanks for the test, but as was said before, the league rewards that got reset are only the ones that are above the league you qualified at the end of the month. downward league don't have a reward (i saw it myself). i hope they fix this soon. |

So play up till the middle of the month, then "fall down"... When you qualify in bronze at the end of the next league you can battle your way back up to where ever you were, collecting gold all the way for winning + the league rewards till almost the end.... Between the heavy AU payouts for damage, beacons and now a reward system that gives you ZERO incentive to stay put (cumulative gold vs just the league your in) ---- At this point it is safe to assume that "tanking" is by design... Very unnerving, but yeah, honestly, this is the only reasonable course of action with this system. How idiotic someone realize that a month ago.... i have a final mix hangar, all lev 11 and 12 as you know... i feel rich but stupid to kill cossacks... but i need AU, pixonic don't encourage myself to climb, so the ONLY WAY WE GIVE US os try to tank, and also this, isn't easy as you think... you need another type of consistent hangar |

It's called playing against other max and near max hangars, completing daily tasks, and capping the most beacons or placing in top three for damage on winning team. For me I am fortunate enough that I could have a minimum wage job makes grinding look silly. That isn't every one who plays this game. Telling someone "throw money at it" is not only misinformed it is massively insensitive. If I told any one in this forum that a particular slot machine on a particular day would give out a particular prize, assuming it was down the block from you, would you go put money in and pull the lever? And thats the perspective we have here folks All of you are upset that tankers are wrecking others games, and trying to make some moral or ethical statement about it. How many people who tank and club don't see it that way at all (it IS a game) and more or less see it as sticking it to the house/pix. The house/pix is the one who makes the money. The house/pix sets the odds, the house/pix built the system that invites and condones the issues at hand. Stop pointing the finger at the tanker and point the finger at the house/pix. |

There have been over 10 million downloads. If we go super conservative and say only 10% play, that's pixos team of 20-30 people vs 1 million. And you think that's fair odds to figure out EVERY possible exploit and dirty trick in the book? I think your expectations are a little high. |

There are reports going both ways. It definitely seems buggy, but I wouldn't yet draw conclusions about how many leagues one can oscillate and still re-earn previous league payouts. "Qualified" for Master League III and have spent the month going up and down in the same league. "Qualified" again yesterday with +16, +18, +18, -15, -12 and ended up in place 34 in the same league. 200 gold at end of season, no gold for re-qualifying.

And where did you get vs 1 million? Were also not talking about a boxing match or a mugging. Were talking about people who built an automated system and their customers. The sorts of odds you describe are fairly standard in the industry, lets not try to paint a picture that pix needs sympathy on these accounts. That their own success has gotten ahead of them. It isn't like tanking is some deep esoteric bug, some narrow loophole. Rather it is a perfect example of poor design and (to borrow some words from pix) "human psychology" interacting with it. They might as well have put a bill board up in shenzhen explaining how to do it. Even further, there were plenty of people who figured this out shortly after the new MM deployed but before Leagues rolled out, were well over 30 days into having this issue and pix has deceived us on multiple occasions. For a company that is MAKING MONEY it is a pretty bad idea to ignore your customers, and that is exactly what they have done. |

Started Gold 2, Qualified Gold 3, moved back up to Gold 2. Won Gold every time. Total gold won = 260.  |
