I know he is in Cincinnati, and this part of the country has been pounded hard by storms and cold weather this summer, so might not be enjoying his downhill riding at this moment (takes the weather 2 hours to travel east to here and we are having thunderstorms). In Cincinnati there is a Creation Museum that has realistic robot dinosaurs running around the recreation of the garden of eden eating one another as a robot Jesus and robot Adam and Eve walk around next to it. It is the coolest thing ever to see. You literally see a dinosaur looking like T Rex ripping into a clearly disturbed dying dinosaur, with robotic movements, and Jesus is just Strolling nearby. It has to be seen. When I went it was prior to Noah’s Ark being built on site, think I saw part of the live sized inner modeling but they later on built the whole thing. They also have a genetics lab full of Mennonite kids looking through microscopes looking like they are from The Children of the Corn, and they also have a wallaby farm to prove their version of evolution is correct. I am a Christian and went on tour with a Christian geneticist and she said it was mostly right but omitted a lot (on the science of genetics side, not the Jesus riding a dinosaur side). I found it one of the weirdest experiences of my life. Very much worth a visit. Doesn’t matter if you believe or not, just go watch dinosaurs rip one another apart as Eve showers in a waterfall.

Reading your description was surreal enough... I believe I may be convinced that I dosed hallucinogens if I actually go... *plans trip to Cincinnati.

onasander Yeah, I read about that when they were building it years ago. If acid were legal, I think pot is legal in Kentucky, where the museum is, I might consider going. My sister is a devout Catholic, so she wouldn’t be averse to a field trip. I think I flew over it yesterday as my plane arrived at CVG (Greater Cincinnati Airport) in northern Kentucky. If I go, I’ll post pictures.

Oh, it is absolutely heretical of she is Catholic like I am. But I have a perverse sense of humor about this stuff as well. There was no mention in genesis or the Torah of Jurassic park in Eden.
If I recall it was a real or amateur paleontologists (they run a video documentary there you can watch) who kept finding fossils but couldn’t get them to mesh with his grasp of the Bible, so he merged the two systems best he could figure. End result is packs of killer dinosaurs roaming around the Garden of Eden.
Also the restaurant Colonel Sanders founded after he sold KFC is nearby in Kentucky too, think a hour or two drive south. Apparently the chicken is a lot nicer (haven’t gone yet). It is a pilgrimage spot for people who love KFC, and since KFC is traditional Christmas food in Japan you might want to eat there for bragging rights if nothing else.

The site is up for me. There aren’t any pictures of people riding dinosaurs like there used to be. It says the museum got an upgrade so they probably took the fun stuff out.

Her husband might get a kick out of it. I think he just puts up with Catholicism for my sister. I gotta look up the restaurant. I did have my Skyline Chili yesterday for dinner…so good.

It's kind of pricey like 40 bucks or so to go to this "adventure"... But that was a couple years ago..

Was $20 a little over a decade ago, but it isn’t a tiny lego museum either (avoid all Ohio Lego museums).
And Weed isn’t legal in Ohio, only for medical use, and that’s the only safe version to take (that’s farm grown, they protect their supply). They are lacing it with imported CCP fentanyl now, the Chinese government makes it, sends it to Mexico to get smuggled into the US, and it used to be put only in the heroine but people have been dying from the weed now too, gets laced in. They undoubtedly think it is revenge for all sorts of reasons like The Opium War or Corona Virus, neither of which we are to blame. If you openly smoke it in the parking lot Kentucky sheriff deputies will pull up when the Children of the Corn report you, and if you do it in Ohio they will get you. It isn’t a very lenient or understanding culture like San Francisco where I used to live was. And I can’t recommend how to get it because I don’t do drugs, even refuse pain killers after surgery. I know too many who have died thinking it was cool- in the summer time the morgues have to bring in ice trucks to keep the bodies coming in cooled enough till they are claimed for burial because they overflow from all the druggies dying. So smoke at your own risk in Ohio.
