Granted, she's better off not exposing herself to those. I watched the first one...years after it's release and the subsequent sequels, and I feel dumber for the experience. The 'one time at band camp' meme is the only reason I decided to watch it...and the only thing I remember. |

Had to go check that out, KB - 「huge tracts of land」, got it - but is that really interesting? Focusing on what I *could do* (if *EVERYTHING* in the world were different somehow) has mostly just cost me a lot of years. Not even disappointed anymore. They might as well be statues in a museum: not for me. “Don’t look at the camera, keep on like you’re fighting….”

Had to go check that out, KB - 「huge tracts of land」, got it - but is that really interesting? Focusing on what I *could do* (if *EVERYTHING* in the world were different somehow) has mostly just cost me a lot of years. Not even disappointed anymore. They might as well be statues in a museum: not for me. “Don’t look at the camera, keep on like you’re fighting….” When I first saw that scene, my heart just about stopped...IDK, something about being a red-blooded cis male I guess. Even after all this time and feeling my age, a nice set of headlights still makes me stop in my tracks. |

I admit, I have never sat thru the entire movie myself due to my Keeanoo Reevis allergy. I did ffw thru to the Dennis Hopper scenes though.

Weâre biologically directed into the dance and we never stop wanting to dance (so far). To be clear, I have nothing against statues - or women, beautiful and otherwise; but being a romantic/「( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)」 fool is kind of like wishing in one handâ¦but I will never lose my love for or appreciation of or attraction to them (not statues, women). Most of my closest friends have been women, and many strong women have helped me and trusted me. I had the joy of raising a terrific human being of a daughter Iâm very proud of. So I guess I got to be that guy for the two of them, I just know Iâll never be âthat guyâ again. Sorry, old and rambling |

Tonight, the “old” movie channel started the next movie as my wife and I settled in to eat supper…..the movie was Westworld, and my wife told me she had never seen it before……Whaaaaat?  |

I should’ve kept the original Star Wars trilogy before Lucas f’ed it up when he remastered it. If only I had known they wouldn’t release the trilogy in its original form on DVD. If only I had known Lucas would try to remaster it. Funny how Remastered has such negative implications… |
